If you’ve seen the promo for Suits‘ season 4 premiere (airing June 11 at 9 p.m. ET on USA), you know it doesn’t take long for Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) to find themselves at odds now that Mike has left Pearson Specter to become an investment banker at a startup company that retains Harvey as its lawyer. That wasn’t always the plan. “We did think Mike was going to be a client of Harvey’s and they were going to be on the same side, but when I heard those [story ideas], they felt flat to me,” creator Aaron Korsh tells EW. “So I was like, ‘Let’s get them on opposite sides: He’s a client. They fall out. Let’s have them go toe-to-toe.’”

Look for the new recurring characters Walter Gillis (played by Family Ties‘ Michael Gross), the founder of a DVD distribution company trying to hold off a potential takeover attempt, and Logan Sanders (Betrayal‘s Brendan Hines), the son of a millionaire entrepreneur who wants to prove himself with an acquisition, to play key roles.

In addition to that drama – which has a twist longtime fans will appreciate – here are two more things you can look forward to in the season 4 premiere. Harvey and Jessica (Gina Torres) are visited by a potential minion of Eric Woodall. “Woodall is looking to take revenge on them — they got Eric Woodall fired in between episodes 316 and 401,” Korsh says. “That guy [Jeff Malone, played by DB Woodside] uses the leverage he has to try to strong-arm Jessica and Harvey into doing something that they’d rather not do.” Louis (Rick Hoffman), meanwhile, is angling to increase his power at the firm. “Ironically, he runs into a roadblock by taking Harvey’s unsolicited advice,” Korsh says. This clip = a hint.
