Vera Farmiga doesn't get why that 'Bates Motel' kiss was a big deal

When the Bates Motel cast stopped by EW‘s Comic-Con hangout, there was one central topic of discussion: that kiss.

Fans know the one. When Norman decided he wanted to kill himself in the season 2 finale, Norma found him out in the woods, gun in hand. There, she finally revealed the fact that he was behind his own father’s murder. But to stop him from pulling the trigger, Norma kissed him like she meant it. It was the moment fans had been waiting for, and it was one that executive producer Kerry Ehrin revealed to us was Freddie Highmore’s idea.

So now that the cast is further removed from the finale, how do they feel about it? Well, Vera Farmiga does not get what all of the fuss is about.
