On 'Girl Meets World,' Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel meet parenting

It’s a rehearsal day on the Girl Meets World set. Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have traded the polished working-adult garb they wear on taping days in favor of casual, loose-fitting T-shirts. They have gathered in Savage’s dressing room for their interview, and though they play the parents on Disney’s upcoming Boy Meets World spin-off, sitting side-by-side cross-legged on the floor, they look just as youthful as when viewers first watched them on the small screen in 1993.

And, as the pair, both 33, explain in their sit-down with EW ahead of the show’s June 27 premiere, little has changed since then too. Oh, except they’re parents now. READ FULL STORY

Farewell, Cristina: Sandra Oh and 'Grey's Anatomy' creator Shonda Rhimes say goodbye to a beloved character

She’s an ambitious woman, to say the least. A straight-talker whose tough spirit has carried her to the top of a field that requires a most delicate touch. A woman who mends hearts for a living and, ironically, has had to work the hardest to fix her own. And, all the while, she’s one half of a friendship so pure and honest that it has brought us to tears (several, several times).

Above all, Cristina Yang, the doctor portrayed fearlessly by Sandra Oh for 10 years on Grey’s Anatomy, is a survivor — and not just because she managed to be one of few people to survive the show’s numerous disasters. So when Cristina’s former mentor and love, Dr. Preston Burke (Isaiah Washington), offered her the position of a lifetime two weeks ago, we couldn’t fault her for jumping at the chance to lead a top-of-the-line research facility. As Burke said, she’d earned the opportunity. And as Cristina prepares to hop on a plane and leave Grey Sloan Memorial for good, EW spoke with Oh and show creator Shonda Rhimes about the journey that’s led to the bittersweet departure of a fond friend, doctor and dancing buddy. 'Castle' post-mortem: EP breaks down the season finale's shocking twist

WARNING: Castle fans, spoilers ahead.

“What’s a great story without obstacles to overcome?” Castle said in the middle of Monday night’s season finale, as he comforted his defeated bride-to-be. “Every fairy tale has them — terrible trials that only the worthy can transcend. But we can’t give up. That’s the deal — we want the happy ending, we can’t give up.”

Wise words from the crime-fighting novelist but, in a way, also eerie. Because, as fans know by now, the wedding day Castle and Beckett worked so hard to put together didn’t unravel as expected in the show’s season finale.

In an interview with EW, executive producer Andrew Marlowe explains why they chose to delay Castle and Beckett’s trip down the aisle and what fans can expect from next season. READ FULL STORY

Penny Dreadful‘s ratings are off to a pretty delightful start.

The Showtime drama debuted last night to 1.44 million total viewers, topping the series premieres of Homeland and Masters of Sex, the network said. 'Bones': John Francis Daley on Sweets' big episode, the 'explosive' finale -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

We all know Lance Sweets is a master of psychoanalyzing, but when Booth finds himself sidelined in tonight’s episode of Bones, Sweets is going to step out from behind his desk to prove himself unlike ever before.

“Booth is unavailable in this portion of the series because he’s prepping the episode that follows to direct,” jokes John Francis Daley, referencing star David Boreanaz’s turn as director for the season finale. “The way they wrote it is that he’s busy studying for this FBI exam and he hands the reigns over to Sweets to be the lead FBI agent on the case and, of course, Sweets jumps at the opportunity.” READ FULL STORY

WARNING: This story contains spoilers from the season finale of Revenge. Proceed with caution, West Coast!

Fans of ABC’s twisted Hamptons drama-fest Revenge learned earlier this week that the show would be returning for a fourth season, and thank the TV Gods for that. Because after tonight’s season finale, which featured multiple deaths and one HUGE twist, we’re guessing there would have been a few not-so happy fans. “I was telling everyone, if we didn’t get picked up, that was going to be the ultimate act of revenge,” jokes exec producer Sunil Nayar, who called EW to break down the show’s boldest finale yet.
