Spidey will cast his net across millions of TV screens during Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, but that’s not where tomorrow’s televisual treats end. Happy Thanksgiving, Roomies!
As I’ll likely be in a Turkey coma on Friday, here’s something to be thankful for a little early… Spoiler Room: Special Wednesday/Pre-Holiday/Yay For a Long Weekend Edition! Yup, just a few scoops to take you into your hopefully lovely holiday.
But before the 411 — and at the risk of sounding very sappy — I have to say that I’m very thankful for your readership and highly entertaining comments and questions this year. Here’s to another great one!
On that note, don’t slack! Send questions and ponderings to email@example.com or Tweet ‘em to me @EWSandraG. Be well!
‘HIMYM': ABOUT THE NEXT EPISODE…
The logline for next week’s How I Met Your Mother is incredibly teasey. Observe: When “Robin receives bad news, she decides to lie about it to the gang. Meanwhile, Marshall hangs Christmas decorations on the house in the ‘burbs with help from his neighbor.” But still unsatisfied, I hopped on the phone yesterday with HIMYM executive producer Carter Bays, who talked about the next episode. (To read part of our chat, click here.)
What I left out about the Dec. 5 episode, however, is something that truly sent chills of anticipation down my spine: While Bays said he believes it’s “one of the best episodes we’ve ever done,” he also expressed a little apprehension, saying he hopes viewers will see it the same way. “You know, honestly, I hope people stay on board after the next episode,” he tells me. “I think there’s some incredible acting in it, and it’s a really nicely told story that we’re very pleased with. But… this Barney and Robin stuff is a third rail for our show in a good way. It’s nice to get a little jolt every now and then, but it is so divisive among fans from what I’ve gathered. So hopefully people will enjoy the story for what it is. But yeah, we’re nervous about where the story goes. Excited, and very proud of it, but I hope people stay on board. I think they will.” READ FULL STORY
The death of Vincent Nigel-Murray last season was a devastating loss for the team at the Jeffersonian, but they’re on their way to filling the void with the addition of new squintern Finn Abernathy, who makes his debut on this Thursday’s episode.
“He’s good ole boy from the hills,” says actor Luke Kleintank, who in the past has appeared in several episodes of Gossip Girl and No Ordinary Family.
Finn, who sports what Kleintank calls a “Larry the Cable Guy” accent, certainly makes a strong impression on the team, especially with Hodgins — but that’s not necessarily a good thing. “The best way I can describe it is that it’s like the relationship I have with my brothers,” he says. “They [bicker], but kind of fall in love with each other at the end … I think he and Hodgins are going to be a dynamic duo, the two brothers that are just doing stupid stuff together.” READ FULL STORY
We are less than a week away from the season Nov. 3 season premiere of Bones, and Fox has given fans the promo below, which has a way of making you feel as though Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) have been in a romantic relationship way longer than they have. (At least if we’re talking physically.) I may not have included Brennan’s breakdown in the car — it doesn’t play well in the quick montage of moments past. But “I knew right from the beginning. Bones, I’m that guy” — swoon.
P.S. They will still be catching criminals this season. READ FULL STORY

‘GOSSIP GIRL': EP TALKS MORE ON ‘SLEEP NO MORE,’
How much did you love this news? I was so excited I even circled Nov. 14 in my calendar and drew a creepy mask by the date to remind myself. But in case you need even more reasons to be excited about the impending romantic entanglements in this very special episode, executive producer Josh Safran told me that much “like masked balls in the past, there are multiple kisses — between multiple people” in the episode. “Like, quadratic couples, I’d say,” he teases. Could that have something to do with the “big kiss” everyone has been asking me about? Possibly… READ FULL STORY
Bones just recruited another baddo!
Meet Christopher Pellant, a bad boy hacker who will be played by Andrew Leeds. He was a regular on the FX drama Dirt but you may also recognize him from roles on House, The Mentalist, and Castle.
His character manages to commit murder despite being under house arrest for hacking into a government network. Leeds will show up in episode 6 that is tentatively set to air in December.
The seventh season of Bones begins in November.
No time for small talk, today. Sorry. A storm a’brewin’ on the East Coast!

Fox confirms to EW what followers of Ben Savage’s Twitter account (Go team nostalgia!) suspected following a revealing tweet this afternoon: The former Boy Meets World star has snagged himself a guest spot on Bones!
Earlier today, Savage had tweeted excitedly: “First day on the set of ‘Bones’. Great show and a very talented cast!” EW is told he will play Hugh Burnside, a former shipping store employee who finds himself in the middle of an investigation in the fourth episode of the season, which kicks off Nov. 3 on Fox. So, is anyone else wildly excited about Boy Meets Bones?

Did you know the first 100 words of this column are the last 100 words I write every week? I say this for two reasons: 1) If you’ve ever noticed the coherency of this column increases as you work your way through it, you now know why. 2) You now also have an incentive to click to the second page of this column. (Yes! I’m paginated now! << I don’t know if that statement is the “Spoiler Room” speaking or yours truly. I’m going to say it’s the “room” since I, in fact, am not paginated.)
At any rate, take note of the little number “2” because it’s your path 2 more scoop. (See what I did there.) Hey, I warned you just one paragraph ago…
Remember to send scoop requests to firstname.lastname@example.org (note to the two smooshed “r”s) and follow me on Twitter for more things that don’t make a lot of sense and a few things that do (like TV scoop!). @EWSandraG READ FULL STORY
