Fox reveals spring schedule, 'Bones' return

Fox announced some more midseason premiere dates, including the return of Bones and Breaking In and the series premiere of Gordon Ramsay’s latest reality show Hotel Hell. Oh, and there’s also the return of I Hate My Teenager Daughter, which I’m sure you’ve all been anxious about.

Fox TCA round-up: 'Bones' creator says 'oh hell yes' to 8th season

Rest easy, Booth and Brennan fans. Bones creator Hart Hanson told reporters at the TCA press tour today that he is “very confident” that there will be an 8th season of the fan favorite Fox series. “Putting Booth and Brennan together, raising a child, we feel reinvigorated the series,” added Hanson, who feels there are an “infinite” number of murder stories available for Booth and Brennan to investigate.

Hanson was actually speaking to the TCA press about his Bones spin-off, The Finder — albeit via Skype, due a motorcycle accident on Tuesday that left him with a broken ankle. (At one point, one of the Finder panelists who was present on stage at TCAs — including stars Geoff Stults and Michael Clarke Duncan — asked Hanson if he was wearing pants. He wasn’t.) After a reporter commented that “The Finder” was a pretty “flat” title, Hanson and fellow exec producer Barry Josephson essentially conceded the point by admitting that they couldn’t find a better title — other options included Lost and Found and The Locator, “which sounded to me like a real estate show,” joked Hanson.

Here are the other highlights from other Fox mid-season panels for Naploeon Dynamite, New Girl, Raising Hope, and Breaking InREAD FULL STORY

‘HIMYM': ABOUT THE NEXT EPISODE…
The logline for next week’s How I Met Your Mother is incredibly teasey. Observe: When “Robin receives bad news, she decides to lie about it to the gang. Meanwhile, Marshall hangs Christmas decorations on the house in the ‘burbs with help from his neighbor.” But still unsatisfied, I hopped on the phone yesterday with HIMYM executive producer Carter Bays, who talked about the next episode. (To read part of our chat, click here.)

What I left out about the Dec. 5 episode, however, is something that truly sent chills of anticipation down my spine: While Bays said he believes it’s “one of the best episodes we’ve ever done,” he also expressed a little apprehension, saying he hopes viewers will see it the same way. “You know, honestly, I hope people stay on board after the next episode,” he tells me. “I think there’s some incredible acting in it, and it’s a really nicely told story that we’re very pleased with. But… this Barney and Robin stuff is a third rail for our show in a good way. It’s nice to get a little jolt every now and then, but it is so divisive among fans from what I’ve gathered. So hopefully people will enjoy the story for what it is. But yeah, we’re nervous about where the story goes. Excited, and very proud of it, but I hope people stay on board. I think they will.” READ FULL STORY

'Bones': New squintern Luke Kleintank on the show's new 'dynamic duo.' Plus, EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

The death of Vincent Nigel-Murray last season was a devastating loss for the team at the Jeffersonian, but they’re on their way to filling the void with the addition of new squintern Finn Abernathy, who makes his debut on this Thursday’s episode.

“He’s good ole boy from the hills,” says actor Luke Kleintank, who in the past has appeared in several episodes of Gossip Girl and No Ordinary Family.

Finn, who sports what Kleintank calls a “Larry the Cable Guy” accent, certainly makes a strong impression on the team, especially with Hodgins — but that’s not necessarily a good thing. “The best way I can describe it is that it’s like the relationship I have with my brothers,” he says. “They [bicker], but kind of fall in love with each other at the end … I think he and Hodgins are going to be a dynamic duo, the two brothers that are just doing stupid stuff together.” READ FULL STORY

'Bones' promo: To love! -- VIDEO

We are less than a week away from the season Nov. 3 season premiere of Bones, and Fox has given fans the promo below, which has a way of making you feel as though Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) have been in a romantic relationship way longer than they have. (At least if we’re talking physically.) I may not have included Brennan’s breakdown in the car — it doesn’t play well in the quick montage of moments past. But “I knew right from the beginning. Bones, I’m that guy” — swoon.

P.S. They will still be catching criminals this season. READ FULL STORY

‘GOSSIP GIRL': EP TALKS MORE ON ‘SLEEP NO MORE,’
How much did you love this news? I was so excited I even circled Nov. 14 in my calendar and drew a creepy mask by the date to remind myself. But in case you need even more reasons to be excited about the impending romantic entanglements in this very special episode, executive producer Josh Safran told me that much “like masked balls in the past, there are multiple kisses — between multiple people” in the episode. “Like, quadratic couples, I’d say,” he teases. Could that have something to do with the “big kiss” everyone has been asking me about? Possibly… READ FULL STORY

We’re a few weeks into the new season and the greatness just keeps on coming. No, I’m not talking about me, but I’m flattered.

I’m talking about TV, silly. And judging by the volume of your tweets and e-mails, you’re enjoying it as much as I am.

Special thanks to everyone who has been sending me tweets and e-mailing questions as you tune into new episodes of your favorite shows. They keep me entertained when I’m bored and give me something to read when I’m trying to ignore someone on the elevator. Keep it up!

Send queries to spoilerroom@ew.com and @EWSandraG. I will try to comb through comment questions, but I don’t always have a chance. So the first two methods are preferred, if possible. Thanks, guys!

Meet the latest villain on 'Bones'

Bones just recruited another baddo!

Meet Christopher Pellant, a bad boy hacker who will be played by Andrew Leeds. He was a regular on the FX drama Dirt but you may also recognize him from roles on House, The Mentalist, and Castle.

His character manages to commit murder despite being under house arrest for hacking into a government network. Leeds will show up in episode 6 that is tentatively set to air in December.

The seventh season of Bones begins in November.

'Bones': 'I'm never going to be able to survive this pregnancy!' -- VIDEO

Looks like pregnancy is proving tough — for daddy Booth!

In this new promo for the upcoming season of Bones (premiering Nov. 3), a visibly pregnant Brennan is maneuvering around at a crime scene while fending off Booth, who is trying to do the gentlemanly thing and carry a heavy piece of equipment for her. Of course, this is Brennan, and she’s not having any of that, citing the centuries of women who have done hard labor while pregnant.

I miss this precious banter more than Marshmallow Rice Krispies cereal, fellow Bones fans. Take a look at the promo below and tell me if you agree!  READ FULL STORY
