'Castle': Stana Katic previews Beckett 'in more danger than she's ever been before' -- VIDEO

Beckett is going under cover in this week’s episode of Castle, but her plan to be home before dinner won’t go according to plan.

In tonight’s harrowing episode, the detective is going to find herself in one of her most precarious positions yet — and we’re talking about a woman who has been shot, nearly blown up, and almost froze to death. “It was an exciting episode to film because we had the A-team working on it,” Katic says of the episode, penned by creator Andrew W. Marlowe and David Amann and directed by Rob Bowman. “It just felt like an episode where the people involved were all-in, and we were committed to making a story that was different for Castle.”

For one, the hour is much more cinematic than usual, says Katic, and “it raises the stakes for the characters. It re-mythologizes some of the darker elements of her past,” she says. “A couple of dragons are awakened in this episode.”

In all, “Beckett’s going to be in more danger than she’s ever been before,” Katic previews. “You just don’t know if she’s going to get out alive.” READ FULL STORY

'Castle' sneak peek at wedding dress episode -- EXCLUSIVE

Monday’s new episode of Castle is the one many fans have been waiting for — it’s the episode where we get a first look at Beckett in a wedding dress!

What the pictures from the episode won’t tell you is how we get there. And you’re not getting it out of me either! But let’s just say that the episode, guest starring Frances Fisher as a Miranda Priestly in Devil Wears Prada-type of woman, delves into Beckett’s past as a model and might see her revisiting those days in a small way.

Can’t wait much longer? EW has an exclusive sneak peek from the episode for you below. No, it’s not Kate in her dress. (You have to wait for that!) But, it will help set up the hour for you and give you some info on the case the duo is working. READ FULL STORY

'Community': See Nathan Fillion as Greendale's chief custodian -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Your cult TV-loving brain is about to explode with joy — as Nathan Fillion guests on Community tonight — and there’s only one man who can clean it up: Greendale head custodian Bob Waite, played by… yes, Nathan Fillion.

The Firefly alum-turned-Castle star assumes the role of the politically savvy janitor-in-chief who clashes with Annie (Alison Brie) and Prof. Hickey (Jonathan Banks) over a simple bulletin board, while the rest of the study group is trying to get the Greendale cafeteria good and ready for the midterm dance. Click on the video to preview a scene from “Analysis of Cork-Based Networking” (8 p.m., NBC), in which Waite’s deputy, Lapari (Kumail Nanjiani), introduces Annie and Hickey to the top of the mop. The episode also includes appearances by Paget Brewster as Greendale’s I.T. boss and Robert Patrick as the head of parking. It’s 30 minutes of staffs and laughs!

'Castle' sneak peek: Dad issues -- EXCLUSIVE

There’s something strange afoot on Monday’s Castle — and it involves Castle’s father!

In this exclusive sneak peek from next week’s new episode, we see the return of James Brolin as spy daddy, who you’ll recall made a swift exit at the end of last season’s “Hunt.”

But this reappearance is anything but straightforward. In fact, the clip below will show you that he’s far from eager to make his real identity known: READ FULL STORY

'The Mentalist': How the 'Red John' mystery captured the imagination, then lost it

It was Rebecca that made me pay attention to The Mentalist. I had never seen the CBS crime drama starring Simon Baker until the eighth episode of season 2. “His Red Right Hand” was the one where a secretary in the Sacramento offices of the California Bureau of Investigation shot Sam Bosco (Terry Kinney) and two other agents on behalf of a serial killer — Red John, a brilliant phantom with a blood-drawn smiley face insignia, powerful influence and connections, and a scores of similarly brain-sick and unnervingly gleeful devotees.

In the last act, an assassin — presumably Red John himself; we never saw his mug — silenced Rebecca by deftly applying poison on her wrists. When Rebecca saw him, she recognized him, and her eyes lit up happily, and she smiled the smile of a fawning fangirl. It was all so eerie, and well played by the actress, Shauna Bloom. In the aftermath, the head of the CBI office, Virgil Minelli, played by Gregory Itzin, aka The Despicable Nixonian President on 24, abruptly resigned to take early retirement. Now that was suspect. I was instantly convinced Virgil was Red John. C’mon! Despicable Nixonian President on 24! And then, Bosco, on his death bed, told the show’s hero, con man-turned-trickster detective Patrick Jane, that if the carny Sherlock should ever catch Red John, he shouldn’t arrest him, he should kill him. He whispered something into Patrick’s ear and died. What did he say? WHAT DID HE SAY?!

My imagination was captured. I knew I’d be sticking with the show to watch Patrick solve the mystery: Who was Red John?

'Castle' sneak peek: Baby bundle puts Castle into 'ruggedly handsome dad' mode -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Castle’s got baby fever!

In Monday’s episode of Castle, the team is going to find themselves working a murder case in which the deceased leaves behind a babbling bundle of adorable that, as evident in the exclusive clip below, instantly makes Castle go into RHD mode, or Ruggedly Handsome Dad mode.

When EW spoke with exec producer Andrew Marlowe recently about the episode, airing at 10 p.m. ET, he teased that this bundle of joy will bring with it a bundle of hard questions for engaged couple Castle and Beckett. “Through the course of the series so far, they haven’t talked about whether they want more kids,” he said. “Does Castle want more kids? Does Beckett want kids? We kind of brought it up in the time-travel episode about their future, so we touched it there. And we get to have a real good bite of that [again] and find out how folks feel.”

Check out the clip below.

'Castle' sneak peek: Castle wants wedding to Beckett to take place...on the moon? -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

It will be an affair to remember. And if Castle has anything to say about it, it’s going to be an affair in zero gravity as well.

In this adorable exclusive sneak peek from tonight’s new episode of Castle, the author and Beckett are talking about a pretty important wedding detail — the location! But the problem, they soon realize, is that their visions slightly differ — he wants a moon wedding and she doesn’t. (Honestly, we’re hoping that the Castle production budget is large enough to accommodate Castle’s request…but not holding our breath.)

Meanwhile, Castle is also still worried about his relationship with Alexis being on the outs. Luckily, as EP Andrew Marlowe teased on Friday, this episode is going to dig into that conflict some more and hopefully see some resolution.
