Happy Friday, all!

What a week it’s been. If you, like me, are suffering from this strange, post-holiday walking coma, then hopefully this week’s column puts a little skip back into your step.

Thanks to everyone who has been answering the call for questions. (Remember, no question is stupid! Unless it is. Kidding!) So keep it up! spoilerroom@ew.com

Oh, and I just figured out how to make one of these nifty Twitter buttons! (Don’t tease — I know I’m ridiculously late to the cool button party.)

'Castle' scoop: ABC orders additional episode -- EXCLUSIVE

As if Castle fans needed another reason to be eager for the show’s return in January!

EW has learned exclusively that ABC has ordered an additional episode of the series, bringing its season 4 order to a total of 23.

Castle ended its first half of the season Monday and returns Jan. 9 with all-new episodes. The second half of the season will include guest spots from Hilarie Burton as a reality star and Jamie Ray Newman, who will appear in an episode centering around Ryan’s (Seamus Dever) wedding to Jenny (Juliana Dever).

Meanwhile, Castle fans, celebrate the additional hour by commenting with questions for executive producer Andrew Marlowe, who will be talking to EW soon about what’s in store for the second half of the season!

'Castle' casting scoop: 'White Collar' actress Hilarie Burton tapped for Kardashian-esque guest role

I’ve always wanted to see a White Collar/Castle crossover and it looks like I’m an inch closer to my dream.

White Collar actress Hilarie Burton is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of ABC’s Castle, EW has learned. Burton, who also played Peyton on CW’s One Tree Hill for six seasons, will play Kay Cappuccio, a reality TV star with good looks, charisma, and a knockout bod. According to casting scoop, the tabloid darling has “achieved significant fame and fortune without possessing any discernible skill or talent” and “is famous mostly for being famous.” Sounds like someone we know… not that I’m naming names — because I already did in the headline.

The character, however, is more complex than some might think, as she both relishes the spotlight and “at the same time feels like a prisoner of her own celebrity lifestyle.”

Burton will appear in episode 13, “An Embarrassment of Bitches,” set to air in 2012.

Castle‘s Monday episode, which found Beckett struggling with her post-traumatic stress disorder, was up 13 percent from the previous week, with a 2.7/7 rating in the 18-49 demo and 11.9 million viewers.

'Castle' star Stana Katic on tonight's important scene that will alter Castle and Beckett's future

Stana Katic had her plate full when producers handed her the script for tonight’s episode “Kill Shot.” But she was more than up for the challenge of having to tackle one of Beckett’s most emotionally raw episodes yet. “I was really excited that we are continuing to delve deeper into the characters and keeping some of those major events we’ve played going and giving them a longer life, which is something that’s true this season,” she says. She’s of course referring to the consequences of Beckett’s shooting last season at the hands of a sniper, which this season, has sent the detective into a tailspin.

Tonight, Beckett gets out of control. If she’s not panicking during key moments, she’s uncharacteristically turning to alcohol to numb the pain she’s been reluctant to deal with. For Katic, the episode is full of telling moments. “I think this episode highlights the fact that she’s that modern-day hero who is not perfect, but trying to do her best,” she says. “She doesn’t always make the best choices or the right choices, but she’s trying to grow and push for her better self. It’s a character and hero people can relate to. I don’t think we have Supermen anymore. We have people who are flawed and those are interesting people to watch.” (See a clip from the episode here.)

'Castle': Beckett loses control in 'Kill Shot' -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

Castle fans, don’t say I never get you anything nice.

Below, you will find a big treat I think you’ll enjoy and something I hope will take the edge off your wait for the next new episode of Castle. In this exclusive clip from Monday’s episode, “Kill Shot,” the team is investigating a sniper shooting that hits a little too close to home for Det. Beckett, who you’ll recall was shot by a sniper in last season’s epic finale and has been dealing with the physical and emotional effects all season.

Having seen the episode (more on that in this week’s Spoiler Room), I can tell you it’s a can’t-miss episode, due mostly in part to Stana Katic’s powerfully moving performance. Check out the clip below! READ FULL STORY

Awwww. Y’all know what I realized this week?

It’s been just about one year since we first started our show-mance (and I mean that quite literally). Our mutual love for television has brought us together and I couldn’t be happier about it. So many thanks for your readership, harassment, and love. Sometimes, it all even came rolled in a single e-mail. Crazies after my own heart — I love it.

So I hope you enjoy today’s installment and the comfort of knowing that you’re now officially my longest relationship ever. Woo!!… I think.

Also, celebrate by sending me more questions and ponderings. (E-mail: SpoilerRoom@EW.com or Tweet: @EWSandraG) You’re great people and I appreciate you. Happy Anniversary!! (Note: It was officially last Saturday, but in the grand tradition of all my relationships, I forgot. So we can celebrate now!)

‘GREY’S ANATOMY': KIM RAVER TALKS TEDDY’S GRIEF
So, readers, was Grey’s Anatomy not the most heart-wrenching thing ever last night? I was consoled only by the fact that I was sure there were other people somewhere bawling along with me. But aside from leaving me with puffy eyes, the episode also left us all with a burning question: What’s going to happen to poor Teddy? Well, when I spoke with Kim Raver, she weighed in on what’s next. “It’s like the time-bomb waiting to explode,” she says. “I know that she doesn’t just dissolve into a puddle on the floor. It’s not that kind of grieving. I know she will go into ‘Let me try to fix it’ mode. But we don’t know how long that will hold.” READ FULL STORY

'Castle': Tamala Jones on what's next for Lanie and Esposito. Plus, dish on January's 'phenomenal' wedding episode!

When Lanie and Esposito (Jon Huertas) broke off their relationship last month, it became clear, as Castle‘s Tamala Jones puts it, that the “honeymoon phase is over” between the two once-smitten lovers. But there’s hope on the horizon for the pair, she says.

“She’s got a wall up but I think that Esposito is breaking her down at this point, and you’re going to see a little bit of that [this] week,” says Jones. “She’s going to come clean about how she truly feels about him…but I definitely don’t think Laney is done with Esposito.”

And while full reconciliation might be an extended process, Jones says it will all come to a head in a January episode, which is being filmed now, that will center around Ryan’s (Seamus Dever) wedding to Jenny (played by Dever’s real-life wife Juliana Dever). “Oh my God, that is going to be the episode,” she teases. “I mean, Castle episodes are all good but this one, the wedding episode, I think it’s going to be phenomenal.”  READ FULL STORY

‘GLEE': LET’S TALK ABOUT SEX
It’s hard to know where to begin talking about one of Glee‘s most anticipated episodes of the year. Thankfully, that’s not my problem, because I took your burning questions to resident Gleek lord Tim Stack, who offered up these monster teases! 'Terra Nova' ratings drop on Halloween night

Fox’s Terra Nova ratings got spooked on Halloween night, falling more than any other broadcast show after spending a week off the air due to baseball coverage.

Terra Nova returned to 6.4 million viewers and a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating, down 25 percent compared to its last original airing. (Bummer — some say it was the show’s best episode, recap here.) Given that Terra Nova airs at 8 p.m. and is targeted toward families, it was probably the most likely series to take a punch.

And Terra Nova wasn’t the only show to take a holiday night hit in the ratings — pretty much every series was down, except… READ FULL STORY

‘GOSSIP GIRL': EP TALKS MORE ON ‘SLEEP NO MORE,’
How much did you love this news? I was so excited I even circled Nov. 14 in my calendar and drew a creepy mask by the date to remind myself. But in case you need even more reasons to be excited about the impending romantic entanglements in this very special episode, executive producer Josh Safran told me that much “like masked balls in the past, there are multiple kisses — between multiple people” in the episode. “Like, quadratic couples, I’d say,” he teases. Could that have something to do with the “big kiss” everyone has been asking me about? Possibly… READ FULL STORY

System failing. Too much TV. Abort! Abort!

Anyone else feeling a little overwhelmed by all the amazing television this week? Well, buck up, sissy pants! Fall TV is not for the weak. It’s for the bravest, strongest, most wonderfully reclusive individuals. Together we will conquer.

That said, I need your help. Be sure you’re sending in your scoop requests, sharing your TV ponderings, and telling me your general shows of interest so I can make sure I’m filling your need for scoops during this hectic TV time. DEXTER REVISITS THE PAST IN AWESOME PREMIERE

Last season of Dexter ended with the door open for anything to happen. Lumen lost her darkness and left, Dexter had taken down the season’s villain, and there was even a small note of optimism on his part that he could one day live without his own darkness following him.

On Oct. 2, we pick up with Harrison starting pre-school and Dexter very much at peace with his darkness. And, dare I say, enjoying it again.

Without ruining too much (because I honestly felt incredibly psyched by the premiere and want you to experience it for yourself), much of the episode centers around Dexter tracking down a potential victim at his 20th high school reunion. There, we not only get a great picture of who Dexter was as a high school student, but also get a good laugh out how his classmates perceive him now. (He’s… popular!)

We’re also introduced to Colin Hanks and Edward James Olmos’ demented characters. I can happily report that the first murder they are responsible for is one of the most disgusting ones I’ve ever seen on the show. Congrats, newbies! READ FULL STORY
