Thought last night’s two-hour Chuck opener was awesome? Just wait. According to Yvonne Strahovski, the best is yet to come. “It [gets] way better,” she told me last night at NBC’s press tour bash. “I personally think that stakes are higher. And things happen [in episodes 6-10] that I’m sure everybody would love to see.” What “things” might she be referring to? The below video may provide a clue… (BTW, feel free to take me to task for getting my blond heroines mixed up. I deserve it.) READ FULL STORY »

Ausiello: I’m hearing something about a marriage proposal coming in the second half of the season. Also, remember House’s loony bin lay, Lydia? There’s buzz she may get a shout-out in the upcoming episode directed by Hugh Laurie. Let’s hope Cuddy isn’t within earshot!
Question: When Glee returns in April, will the storylines continue as if no time had elapsed, or will it be four months later? —Jenn

Question: Thanks for all the True Blood casting news! Do you have any other scoop on season 3? –JKH
Ausiello: It’s happening: Lafayette is getting a boyfriend! A True insider tells me that Alan Ball is quietly searching for a sexy Latino actor in his 30s to play a lust interest for everyone’s favorite same-gender-lovin’ blood dealer. (Over the summer, Ball confirmed that viewers would see a more “vulnerable” Lafayette in season 3.) Got casting tips? Head to the comments! Here’s one to get you started: Um, Adam Rodriguez, hello.

If this week’s Ausiello TV is to be believed, it’s gonna be a long (very long), hot (very hot) winter (very winter). Wait, “very winter”? What does that even mean?
Anyway, not only does the episode feature a short film best described as Mike and Annie Make a Porno, it includes scoop on an X-rated plot twist involving one of the guys from one of the shows you’re obsessed with.
Also, there’s the at-least-somewhat-less-salacious live-action (as opposed to photographic) first look at Alyssa Milano’s guest stint on Castle, and my not-at-all-sexually-titillating (or maybe it is… ) exclusive first look at Chuck showing off his new endowment. Of powers, I mean.

Question: There’s a clip making the rounds from the Christmas dinner scene on the Dec. 10 episode of Bones where people are talking about a kiss. What do you know about it? Is it a Booth/Brennan kiss? —Penelope
Ausiello: That’s a really good question. It’s so good that I’m not even going to try to answer it myself. “The Christmas episode is special — it’s Christmas after all,” responds exec producer Stephen Nathan. “But a kiss? With all of the squints and family there? That seems a bit too forward for Brennan and Booth, doesn’t it?” Damn you and your trick questions, Nathan! READ FULL STORY »
