Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on 'Chuck,' 'Glee,' 'True Blood,' 'Grey's,' 'Lost,' and more!

tv-hunks-fox-morrisonImage Credit: Carin Baer/Fox; Steven Lippman/HBO; Mario Perez/ABGot a scoop request? An anonymous tip you’re dying to share? Just want to say hi? You can send any/all of the above to ausielloscoop@ew.com

Question: Hello fellow Smurf lover! Any new scoop on the upcoming season of True Blood? —Candy
Ausiello:
I’m 90 percent certain this is new: Mariana Klaveno is returning as Bill’s maker, Lorena, for roughly six episodes.

Question: Do you know if True Blood‘s third season will feature Bubba? He’s not exactly a major character in the books, but I still love him. —Kristal
Ausiello:
Unfortunately, Alan Ball says he couldn’t figure out a way to introduce Bubba “without it being cheesy,” adding, “I don’t know how to do it without either using an Elvis impersonator, which is cheesy, or having somebody and never seeing their face, just hearing their voice — and to me that sounds equally cheesy. So that’s just one of the casualties of the transfer from book to screen.”

Question: I want some juicy Grey’s Anatomy news, not somewhat juicy, but very juicy. C’mon you can do it! —Sarah
Ausiello:
We’ll find out in an upcoming episode that a major character — one of the original Fab Five — grew up in foster care. READ FULL STORY »

Question: Will anything ever happen between Will and Alicia on The Good Wife? —Stef
Ausiello:
Maybe. Eventually. Perhaps. Exec producer Robert King explains: “[They have] one of the most complicated relationships… because it really is a friendship that doesn’t want to lose its friendship by going to the next step. There’s an episode [coming up in April] that’s all about not knowing what a jury is thinking and it’s a metaphor for how Alicia and Will can’t get into each other’s heads. During this trial, they have to make moves, guessing where the jury is headed. Sometimes we see that they’re just completely wrong.”

Question: I could probably be persuaded to send you a case of your favorite flavor of Snapple if you’ll give me some Good Wife scoop. —Brooke
Ausiello:
I could probably be persuaded to accept those terms. The rivalry between Alicia and Cary will come to a head in May. According to exec producer Robert King, the season will feature two big climaxes — one of which we’ve already witnessed. “The first was ‘Hi,’ the episode where Peter gets out,” he explains. “[The second] will play into [the rivalry].” READ FULL STORY »

Ausiello:
In the milestone episode, airing April 15, “a very important character will sacrifice themselves in a suicide mission,” reveals exec producer Sera Gamble. “We definitely kept in mind that this was [an important] episode. We wanted to deliver something with real scope; it’s about the Archangel Michael. Crises will come to a head for Dean and Castiel. And you’ll see characters you never thought you’d see again.” Here’s the pan I want you to use for my cake. READ FULL STORY »

And I think, hopefully, when people see our scenes that they’ll get that feeling, too. [Libby and Hurley] are so incredibly real with each other. I was really grateful that I got to play those scenes and Libby got to sort of express herself in ways that she hasn’t been able to.” READ FULL STORY »

Ausiello:
Funny story. Just hours before the episode aired, I asked exec producer Shane Brennan if there would be any significant movement on the ‘Tiva’ front in the coming months. Here’s what he said: “I’ll let the ‘Jetlag’ episode answer that, because I think it does. I don’t want to be more specific than that. People should watch that episode and read between the lines.” They so did it it’s not even funny.

It’ll take three villains to replace last season’s one Big Bad, Maryann. “We have a triumvirate of evil this season,” reveals exec producer Alan Ball. “I’m talking about Franklin Mott, Russell Edgington, and Debbie Pelt. They are all bad to the bone. They’re not just crazy, they’re evil.” Speaking of the yet-to-be-cast Debbie Pelt, Ball tells me that Alcide’s psycho ex will actually have a bigger role than first thought. “We actually beefed up Debbie,” he says. “She’s going to be in more episodes, so maybe that will have an impact on [what actress] we can get for her, which is a big question right now.” READ FULL STORY »
