Danny McBride to star in new HBO comedy

Eastbound & Down’s Danny McBride is returning to HBO to star in the new comedy series Vice Principals.

The network ordered 18 episodes of the comedy, created by McBride and Jody Hill, about a high school and the people who almost run it — the vice principals.

McBride and Hill also created Eastbound & Down, which ended its four-season run last year.
