Tonight, Bones can officially count itself among the select list of scripted dramas to reach its 200th episode. Being a milestone, “The 200th in the 10th” brings something out of the ordinary for the series: The episode stars its regular cast in their respective roles, but it’s set in 1950s Hollywood, employing an Alfred Hitchcock-esque style, and acting as a standalone for the series.

David Boreanaz talks post-wedding 'Bones' and rumors it's his last season ('There's no truth to that')
Rumors that David Boreanaz is planning his exit from Fox’s Bones, which is now in its ninth season, have once again been greatly exaggerated. “There’s no truth to that,” he told EW Radio of the report that surfaced this week claiming he’s planning on this being his last season on the show.
In his talk with EW Morning Live hosts Dalton Ross and Jenna Morasca, he also addresses how the season will proceed after Booth (Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) finally wed in the Oct. 21 episode. “Now you have more conflict than you think: I still have got to plan a bachelorette party that she never had. We have to go on our honeymoon. We got to deal with, really, how to live with each other as a married couple. So there’s a lot of conflict that we’re going to be bringing to the show. It’s gonna be fun,” he said. “The dynamics will change… and it will still be solving crimes.”

Bones stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel stopped by the EW studio at Comic-Con to discuss what we can expect in the show’s ninth season.
When we last saw the dynamic duo, Booth broke off his engagement to Brennan after Pelant (Andrew Leeds) threatened to kill five innocent people if he didn’t.
“We come back in the season opener and it still hasn’t been resolved. Brennan’s clearly very upset about the situation,” Deschanel explains. “It may take a while for them to be in a good place.”
Boreanaz also tells EW we’ll see new friends of Booth’s who will “change the outlook for where he is presently.” Watch the interview below! READ FULL STORY
Bones creator Hart Hanson went on a Twitter hiatus after the show’s May finale, but he says “about 400 e-mails” alerted him to comments star David Boreanaz made on Twitter Wednesday night about next month’s San Diego Comic-Con appearance “quite possibly” being the show’s last. Boreanaz also included comments about being “a free agent” come next spring, noting “you must always keep your options open.” Are the show’s producers, who returned to the writers’ room on Monday, plotting season 8 as though it’s the series’ last? No, Hanson tells EW exclusively. “We are in no way planning for it to be the last season. I mean anything can happen in a complicated world,” he says, “but we’re very, very confident in having at least a season 9, and I can see as far as season 10 before my eyes get misty.” READ FULL STORY
