'Supernatural,' 'Being Human,' 'Chuck,' 'Gossip Girl': Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room

Happy Tuesday, all! I come with freshly picked intel, completely pesticide free.

If you see your favorite show missing, remember to put in a request at spoilerroom@ew.com or send me a Tweet (@EWSandraG). Also, as always, feel free to include heaps of praise, your general TV musings, and mythology theories so good I’d like to claim as my own! See you again Friday for more!

BIG CHANGES COMING TO ‘BEING HUMAN’
Holy cow, Humans! Last night’s penultimate episode of Being Human on Syfy not only included a few nail-biting cliffhangers (Please don’t die, Aidan!), but it also left us on a great note going into the season 1 finale. Lucky for you, Sam Witwer spilled many a secrets about next week’s wicked finale to help ease the pain of the wait.

“There are actually a few cliffhangers, and there are a few provocative questions, primarily with Josh and Aidan,” Witwer says. And some of those new questions are likely to be raised in the flashback scene to two years ago that “explains something that Josh did earlier this season,” Witwer teases. “There’s a vengeful move that Josh does at the urging of [Josh’s jerk were-buddy] Ray. We learn a little bit more about why he did that. And we’re also catching Aidan right as he’s about to pull away from the vampires; he’s already starting to feel quite alone and isolated. So that, more than anything, allows him to identify Josh as someone else who has the same problem.” READ FULL STORY

ausiello-emmy-predixImage Credit: Justin Lubin/NBC; Bob D'Amico/ABC How competitive are the Emmy races for lead and supporting comedy actress? Any of the following 10 women could grab a fistful of gold on Aug. 29 and it wouldn’t surprise me in the least. Of course, that’s not to say that there aren’t two very clear favorites… READ FULL STORY

Question: All this vague “a crisis like no other” talk about the Grey’s Anatomy finale is killing me. And you don’t wanna be responsible for my death. Seattle Grace scoop, STAT. —Andy
Ausiello:
Would it qualify as putting you on life support if I got series creator Shonda Rhimes to tell you a bit about the two-hour season-ender? Let’s find out. “The theme of the first hour is sanctuary, which sort of uses the idea that the hospital is our characters’ safest place and our safest place as viewers,” she says. “[Then we use] the hour to slowly turn that on its head [so] that by the end, the hospital is definitely kind of the least safe place in the world.” Yikes! “The second hour,” she continues, “is about choices, and we get to watch our characters make big ones. Lexie chooses between Mark and Alex. Owen chooses between Teddy and Cristina. Bailey faces the hardest medical choice that a doctor has to make. And the other choice that’s being made is Callie and Arizona, and whether or not they’re going to be together or not. It IS going to come down to the baby thing.” You still with us, Andy? Hello? Bueller? Someone call 911! READ FULL STORY

Question: Thanks for all the True Blood casting news! Do you have any other scoop on season 3? –JKH
Ausiello:
It’s happening: Lafayette is getting a boyfriend! A True insider tells me that Alan Ball is quietly searching for a sexy Latino actor in his 30s to play a lust interest for everyone’s favorite same-gender-lovin’ blood dealer. (Over the summer, Ball confirmed that viewers would see a more “vulnerable” Lafayette in season 3.) Got casting tips? Head to the comments! Here’s one to get you started: Um, Adam Rodriguez, hello.

Question: What else can you tell us about the Grey’s Anatomy-Private Practice crossover on Jan. 14? –Sarah
Ausiello:
I can’t really tell you anything. I can, however, show you (exclusively!) the moment Addison sets foot back inside Seattle Grace. Scroll down to the bottom of the column and press play! READ FULL STORY

Question: There’s speculation that Izzie cheats on Alex on Grey’s Anatomy. Is it true? —Molly
Ausiello:
No, but the newlyweds will be dealt a major blow at the end of next week’s episode (the best of the season, IMHO). In fact, the crisis is so big that Izzie disappears for roughly five non-consecutive episodes. BTW, even though I knew Katherine Heigl’s mini-hiatus was coming, Izzie’s exit was no less powerful or emotional. And man, Heigl knocks it out of the park. She can be a real handful (see: Emmygate, 17-hour workdaygate, etc) but girlfriend delivers when it’s called for.

Question: When will Ellen Pompeo’s maternity leave from Grey’s Anatomy kick in on screen? —Zaiver
Ausiello:
Unlike Izzie, Meredith isn’t going anywhere — although we’ll begin to see less of her (literally and figuratively) after this week’s episode. And her diminished screen time will make perfect sense given what happens tonight. READ FULL STORY

Question: All I ask for is some scoop from one of my “G” shows: Glee, Greek, Gossip Girl, or Grey’s Anatomy. —April
Ausiello:
For a second there I thought I was finally going to be able to unload the humongous Gary Unmarried scoop I’ve been sitting on. Maybe next week. In the meantime, here’s something on Grey’s: Seattle Grace’s merger with Mercy West claims its first victim this week. (Hint: The pink-slipped party is female and has been around since season 1. And no, it’s not Mer. Or Izzie. Or Cristina. Or Bailey.)

Question: Is there any good Grey’s Anatomy scoop? —Bryan
Ausiello:
There is if you’re a Calzona ‘shipper: Seattle Grace’s token lesbians make it official this week. Well, officialish.

Question: Rumor has it that Ausiello has been slacking on his Gossip Girl scoop. —Tina
Ausiello:
Rumor has it you smell, but you don’t see me spreading that around, do you? Here’s your damn GG scoop: Tyra Banks’ guest turn as a tempestuous film actress in Monday’s episode is highlarious. Even better, she wasn’t trying to be funny, so you’ll be laughing at her and not with her! Awesome, right? Well, the news just keeps getting better ’cause I gots me a clip! READ FULL STORY

Exclusive: Liza Minnelli, Delta Burke are dueling 'Divas'

Delta-Burke-liza_lNow this is the kind of screwball casting I can get on board with: Liza Minnelli and Delta Burke are set to play dueling sisters on Lifetime’s upcoming legal dramedy Drop Dead Diva, sources confirm to me exclusively.

On Diva, which premieres July 12, Minnelli plays a psychic who takes her sister (Burke) to court after she opens a competing psychic shop directly across the street from her store. Their episode airs Sept. 20 and also features an encore appearance by Rosie O’Donnell as a judge.

Wait, there’s more…

The following week (Sept. 27), Nia Vardalos guest stars as an offbeat (duh) office temp who discovers that she was switched at birth.

Drop Dead Diva, the brainchild of former CSI/Bones exec producer Josh Berman, tells the story of a vapid model who dies in a sudden accident only to be reborn in the body of a brilliant, plus-size attorney (Brooke Elliott).

Might be time to introduce my FauVo to this mysterious Lifetime channel.
