
Darn Ghost Hunters. The ongoing and stunning success of that series and its spinoffs continues to inspire networks to order more and more supernatural investigative reality shows. Now Syfy has just announced three new ghost shows.
First is Ghost Mine (Jan. 16): Yup, ghosts in a mine. An abandoned Oregon gold mine, to be exact. This combines Ghost Hunters with Discovery’s Gold Rush Alaska, assembling a “colorful team of miners to battle the elements in hopes of finding their fortune and teaming them with a pair of experienced paranormal investigators.” In each episode, “miners will face the day-to-day challenges of mining, aided by the paranormal investigators who unravel the mysteries surrounding the mine.” Let’s call the show Ghost Hole instead.
