'MasterChef Junior' renewed for season 3

Fox has ordered an eight-episode third season of MasterChef Junior, hosted by exec producer and chef Gordan Ramsay.

The reality show, where kids between the ages of 8 and 13 compete by showcasing their culinary skills in a series of challenges, was renewed for a second season in December.

Production on season 2 and 3 will begin this spring.

'MasterChef Junior' renewed for second season

If you’ve been hoping for second helpings of Fox’s MasterChef Junior, then you’re in luck. The network has just announced it will renew the hit spinoff series for a second season.

Like MasterChef, the series gives contestants a chance to showcase their passion for food and their talent in the kitchen through a series of cook-off challenges. The twist here is that MasterChef Junior contestants range in age from 8 to 13.

This week on MasterChef, the kitchen gets a musical makeover as the contestants are challenged to cook a meal for the cast of Glee.

To get into the spirit of Wednesday’s mash-up episode — which no doubt came from Mr. Schue writing a single word on the white board and then circling it for effect — the judges of MasterChef (Gordon Ramsay, Graham Elliot and Joe Bastianich) got decked out in their finest McKinley High getups and sidled up to Jane Lynch’s Sue Sylvester in this exclusive photo.

Fox orders up more 'Hell's Kitchen'

Look at that face. Gordon Ramsay is very excited. Or, you know, he’s screaming at us all — but I guess we should get used to it.

Fox announced today it has picked up the Ramsay-hosted culinary competition series Hell’s Kitchen for two more seasons, which will be the show’s 11th and 12th. That’s a lot of bleeps in our future.

Hell’s Kitchen premiered back in 2005 and kicks off its tenth season May 29. And starting June 4, Fox will offer up two helpings per week of the show, airing Mondays and Tuesdays.
