BIG CHANGES COMING TO ‘BEING HUMAN’
Holy cow, Humans! Last night’s penultimate episode of Being Human on Syfy not only included a few nail-biting cliffhangers (Please don’t die, Aidan!), but it also left us on a great note going into the season 1 finale. Lucky for you, Sam Witwer spilled many a secrets about next week’s wicked finale to help ease the pain of the wait.

“There are actually a few cliffhangers, and there are a few provocative questions, primarily with Josh and Aidan,” Witwer says. And some of those new questions are likely to be raised in the flashback scene to two years ago that “explains something that Josh did earlier this season,” Witwer teases. “There’s a vengeful move that Josh does at the urging of [Josh’s jerk were-buddy] Ray. We learn a little bit more about why he did that. And we’re also catching Aidan right as he’s about to pull away from the vampires; he’s already starting to feel quite alone and isolated. So that, more than anything, allows him to identify Josh as someone else who has the same problem.” READ FULL STORY

'Gossip Girl' scoop: Life will get 'a little darker' for Eric

Connor-PaoloImage Credit: Nicole Rivelli/The CWI’ve never met a Gossip Girl fan who doesn’t think Eric (Connor Paolo) is the most together/sane/adult character on that show — and he can’t even legally vote yet.

But as recent episodes have indicated, Eric is about to be faced with some very adult challenges. Perhaps, crushing challenges.

“I think it does get a little darker before an eventual dawn,” says Paolo. “So I guess you can look forward — or not look forward to — things spiraling a little bit more for Eric and [there will be] a few things he’ll have to deal with”

Among them? An all-too-familiar fight with depression following the betrayal and blackmail by Damien (Kevin Zegers).  READ FULL STORY

'Gossip Girl,' 'Good Wife,' 'Supernatural': Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room

Spoiler-RoomImage Credit: John Paul Filo/CBS; Giovanni Rufino/The CW; Jordan Nuttal/The CW; Adam Taylor/CBSWhat is it about Leighton Meester that makes her so incredibly pair-able with others? Whether she’s standing beside Chuck or Dan (or Minka Kelly, for that matter), she simply oozes chemistry. Well, whatever “it” is, it makes for great TV (and perhaps also movies that you really want to see despite a fear of losing self respect). This week, I talked chemistry and more with Blair Waldorf’s amazing puppetmasters, Stephanie Savage and Josh Safran, who dish about what we can expect next from our favorite schemer and the rest of the gang. I also spoke with Matt Czuchry (insert tiny cartoon hearts here) about The Good Wife, dug up some dirt on Supernatural‘s (now postponed) return, spoke with Rachelle Lefevre about Off the Map, and much more. Fall winners and losers: 'NCIS' reigns supreme; 'Dancing with the Stars' is most-watched reality show

2010-Fall-TV-StandingsImage Credit: Eric McCandless/ABC; Justin Lubin/Fox; Richard Cartwright/CBS; Eric McCandless/ABCWe’ve already seen the death of six new shows (Lone Star, My Generation, The Whole Truth, Undercovers, Outlaw and Running Wilde, though Fox hasn’t officially canceled the latter) as well as the departure of some old ones (So long, Medium! Looks like you’re out the door, too, Life Unexpected!) So it probably shouldn’t come as any surprise that HUT levels among CBS, NBC, Fox and ABC (that’s “homes using television”) are down 3 percent this year (from 39.7 million to 38.5 million).

Does that mean there weren’t enough good shows to watch on the Big Four this fall? Glee, Modern Family and The Good Wife fans would probably disagree, but it’s never good when so many freshman series tank before the holidays. Here’s how all the shows ranked in total viewers from Sept. 20 to Nov. 28:

1. NCIS (CBS) 21.3 million
2. Dancing with the Stars (ABC) 21.2 million
3. NFL Sunday (NBC) 20.2 million
4. Dancing with the Stars results (ABC) 18.5 million
5. NCIS: LA (CBS) 17.4 million
6. The Mentalist (CBS) 17.3 million
7. Criminal Minds (CBS) 16.2 million
8. CSI (CBS) 15.9 million
9. Two and A Half Men (CBS) 15.5 million
10. NFL Sunday pre-kickoff (NBC) 15.2 million
11. The Big Bang Theory (CBS) 15 million
12. Modern Family (ABC) 14.7 million
13. Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) 14.6 million
14. Hawaii Five-0 (CBS) 14 million
15. 60 Minutes (CBS) 13.9 million
16. The Good Wife (CBS) 13.7 million
17. Survivor: Nicaragua (CBS) 13.3 million
18. Blue Bloods (CBS) 13.25 million
19. Desperate Housewives (ABC) 13.22 million
20. Castle (ABC) 13 million READ FULL STORY

Taylor Momsen still MIA from 'Gossip Girl'

Taylor Momsen will be on “indefinite hiatus” from Gossip Girl after next week’s episode, according to Deadline. Momsen has appeared in only three of this season’s first nine episodes and is not in at least four more upcoming installments. Momsen’s character Jenny Humphrey has been exiled from the show’s Upper East Side enclave and is staying with her mother in Hudson.

A source close to the series says Momsen’s absence is strictly a creative decision, and that the actress is contracted through the show’s seventh season.
