Question: As of today, I have officially seen every single episode of Grey’s Anatomy, and now I don’t know what to do with myself! Grey’s scoop, please! —Bea
Ausiello:
Even though nearly two months will have passed since the shooting rampage, Derek will still be in pretty bad shape when the season starts. And I’m not talking physically.

Question: What can you tell us about the Grey’s Anatomy premiere? —Claudia
Ausiello:
A major character will be sent directly to jail by the end of the episode. Hint: This person has already been name-checked in this week’s AA.

Question: Do you know if NCIS will deal more with what happened to Ziva in Somalia? —Carlee
Ausiello:
Funny you should ask. Exec producer Shane Brennan just told me the following: “In November sweeps, we dip again into a story that perhaps everyone thought was played out. It involves Ziva.” READ FULL STORY

* My French sucks, but the first-look trailer we were treated to of Blair and Serena’s Parisian adventure was très magnifique! (How’d I do?) The juiciest spoilers from the clip: Blair pushes Serena into a fountain and Blair and Chuck have a tense rendezvous inside some famous train station.

* Savage pitched Warner Bros. the idea for the pricey remote via a sizzle reel that intercut generic images of Paris with scenes from the show. READ FULL STORY

Question: Though I can’t imagine The Office without Michael Scott, I’m more concerned about Holly and Michael getting their much-needed reunion before he bids adieu. Any chance this will happen? —Meaghan
Ausiello:
I’d say there’s a very good chance considering the fact that [exclusive scoop alert!] Amy Ryan (a.k.a. Holly) is not only returning to The Office, but will be playing a sizable role in the show’s upcoming seventh season. “We set her return up in the finale, so it would be the biggest [cop-out] of all time if we didn’t [follow through] on it,” says coexec producer and cast member Mindy Kaling. “She’s definitely coming back.”

Question: How can I get your autograph? —Danny
Ausiello:
You can bring a Sharpie to Comic-Con next week and follow the scent of Diet Raspberry Snapple and blue PVC.

Question: I love True Blood. I love Eric. Scoop, please. —Angi
Ausiello:
Is it too soon to be talking about the finale? No? Cool. Exec producer Alan Ball tells me that there will be a “lot of Bill-Sookie-Eric stuff” in the season 3 finale. “It involves blood, it involves trust, and it does not go where we expect it to go.” READ FULL STORY

Question: Can you please give us some House news that is not about Huddy? —Monica
Ausiello:
Here’s something: Series creator David Shore confirms that producers are casting a new female doc to fill the temporary void left by Olivia Wilde. “We’re working on it,” he tells me. “There’s no definitive answer, [but] it’s something we’re figuring out.”

Question: Last week you asked if anyone watches My Boys other than the very question-y “Kim.” I do! As a girl who’s always been equally boy-crazy and sports-crazy, I completely dig the show, and I’ve seen every episode. —Darcy
Ausiello:
Thanks for letting me know. I will sleep much easier tonight, Kim. READ FULL STORY

Exclusive: 'Gossip Girl' snags 'Melrose' minx Katie Cassidy

Question: I love the idea of Lynda Carter playing Ma Bartowski on Chuck. Do you know if she’s seriously being considered for the role? —Andy
Ausiello:
I asked Josh Schwartz that very question and here’s what the boss man had to say: “I’m a big fan of women with lassos. [Lynda’s] an icon as an actress and is someone who fits the show’s universe…but not necessarily for this role.” Translation: It’s a long shot. So what kind of actress is he looking for to play Chuck’s MIA spy ma? “I don’t want to shed too much light on the character,” he hedges, “but we need someone who can kick ass.” Okay, let’s go with my second choice then: Jamie Lee Curtis. Who’s with me?

Question: I’m looking for a Community bulletin. —Frida
Ausiello:
If by that you mean, will I give you some fall scoop, sure, Frida. Though we now know that Senor Chang isn’t qualified to be a Spanish professor anyplace but Sesame Street, Ken Jeong will be back. Even before his character was exposed as a fraud, “I was worried,” he admits, “because I knew they couldn’t take Spanish forever at community college.” But now the teacher will become a student. And “I think he will definitely try to hang with Winger a lot more,” Jeong suggests. “He’ll relate to him, because [the former lawyer] is also at Greendale because he got caught without the credentials for his job.” READ FULL STORY

Question: I just watched the first seven minutes of the Grey’s Anatomy finale on Hulu. I hope you alert everyone because, as I’m sure you’ve seen, it is very disturbing/shocking! —Elizabeth
Ausiello:
News flash: If you thought the first seven minutes were disturbing/shocking, I strongly suggest you skip the remaining 78-odd minutes. Some seriously dark and depressing s**t goes down in that hospital, and it’s not for the faint of heart. Fun fact: Something big happens in the second hour that doesn’t fit into any of the categories in my May Sweeps Scorecard.

Question: Is the Grey’s Anatomy finale truly going to be epic, or is the hype a bit exaggerated? —Dana
Ausiello:
Based on what I’ve seen (the first hour) and heard (much of the second), it’s no exaggeration.

gossip-girl-finaleImage Credit: Giovanni Rufino/The CWSPOILER ALERT: If you have yet to watch tonight’s Gossip Girl finale, stop reading now. I repeat, if you have yet to watch tonight’s Gossip Girl finale, stop reading now. For the last time, if you have yet to watch tonight’s Gossip Girl finale, stop reading now. Everyone else, onward and downward…

Another season finale. Another blind item mystery solved. I can now confirm that Georgina’s top-secret baby bump — revealed in the closing minutes of tonight’s Gossip Girl‘s finale — was the out-of-the-blue pregnancy shocker at the center of my March 22 brain teaser. But the news that Dan’s going to be a papa was just one of several OMG! moments in the season-ender (Chuck shot! Dan still loves Serena! Jenny banished to suburbia!). Question: I can’t go another week without getting some Dexter season 5 scoopage! —Maria
Ausiello:
Your timing is impeccable, Maria. As luck would have it, I can’t go another week without giving you some Dexter season 5 scoopage. You’re never going to believe who ends up caring for Dexter’s three motherless children. Go ahead, hazard a guess. Dex’s in-laws, you say? Wrong! It’s Deb! New showrunner Chip Johannessen tells me that in the wake of Rita’s brutal slaying, Dex turns to his sister (played by Michael C. Hall’s real-life bride, Jennifer Carpenter) to help care for the kids. And if that’s not problematic enough, all five of them will move into Dex’s old (and rather teensy) apartment! “It’s partially funny and partially not,” says Johannessen. “Deb is not exactly the most maternal person. Nobody quite knows what they’re doing, so there’s a certain kind of struggle to cope.” (For more scoop on Dexter‘s fifth season — bowing in September — pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly.)
