Happy Halloween: Two and a half minutes of frightened freak-outs -- VIDEO

For some people, the best part of Halloween is handful after handful after why-did-I-just-have-that-last-handful of candy corn and Kit Kats. For others, it’s the gory or slutty or gory-slutty costumes. But for some of us, it’s simply just watching people get the living s— scared out of them. The folks at America’s Funniest Home Videos have a special treat for that last subset of individuals. Click below to watch a montage of people who have been tricked into a frenzied state of fright. Scarecrow Puncher and Jazz Hands Guy, thank you for the laughs at your expense — and elevated heart rate. READ FULL STORY

A Salt & Bat-ery: 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' and 'New Girl' do Halloween -- EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK

Fox is serving up ghoulish giggles Tuesday night with an hour of Halloween-themed episodes. Starting at 8:30 p.m. ET, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is first up to bat — just not in the same way as New Girl‘s Jess (Zooey Deschanel, as seen above right) — following Brooklyn‘s police patrolmen and -women as they risk life, limb, and every shred of dignity in donning costumes for an undercover assignment.

After that, New Girl‘s loftmates try to cheer up Schmidt (Max Greenfield), who’s still contending with the guilt and consequences of his cheating streak from earlier this season, while Jess throws a party to reconnect with BFF/spurned Schmidt ex Cece (Hannah Simone). Given Schmidt’s dogged attempts to break up Jess and Nick (Jake Johnson) two weeks ago, you’d think a snake would be a fitting costume… but it seems the (sometimes) loveable douchebag has opted for a different kind of reptile. Also: Who is surprised that slacker soul mates Nick and Brooklyn‘s Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) have opted for similar-looking costumes? Answer: No one.

First Look: 'Super Fun Night' does Halloween -- EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS

It’s about to be a super fun Halloween.

Check out an exclusive first look at Super Fun Night‘s Halloween episode, in which Kimmie decides the office costume party is the perfect place to tell Richard how she feels. But how does she express her feelings? By dressing in a sexy costume, obviously. And in theory, it’s a good idea … until Kendall shows up with the same plan.

Elsewhere, the girls also get invited to a Halloween party at their apartment building. The more parties, the better, right?

Tracy Morgan talks 'Scare Tactics' return, seeing 'The Exorcist' when he was 8 years old

Syfy’s hidden-camera scream fest Scare Tactics is back tonight with a marathon of seven new episodes starting at 7:30 p.m. ET. Though host Tracy Morgan doesn’t like to single out any pranks as his favorite — he loves them all — he will say fans of the show won’t want to miss his cameo in episode 2 (8 p.m. ET), when a young man on his first day in the office of a private security firm becomes the point person in talks with the kidnappers of famous client Tracy Morgan. We caught up with Morgan late last week:

Entertainment Weekly: How did you set the ransom at $3 million? I feel like you might be worth more.

Tracy Morgan: (Laughs) The writers did a great job. We wanted to make the stakes high, and that’s what we did.

I almost wish they’d have told the young man that you died, since he was warned your fate was in his hands.

I don’t know what the writers were thinkin’, but I’m glad we didn’t. We don’t want to freak the kid out like THAT. He may be a big fan of Tracy Morgan, he don’t want to see me die. READ FULL STORY
