'Game of Thrones' knight to guest on Syfy's 'Haven' -- EXCLUSIVE

A Game of Thrones fan favorite will take a break from protecting his Khaleesi and step into the world of Syfy’s Haven.

Iain Glen (Downton Abbey; Ser Jorah on Thrones) will guest star on the supernatural drama as a man bent on vengeance after being trapped inside his house for 27 years (well, he shouldn’t have taken a job as a TV blogger then!).

The actor will appear in the sixth episode of the upcoming third season of Haven, which returns to Syfy on Friday, Sept. 21, at 10 p.m. Haven picks up immediately following the events of the season two finale with Audrey (Emily Rose) having been brutally kidnapped; Nathan (Lucas Bryant) warned against pursuing a romantic relationship with Audrey; and Duke (Eric Balfour) seemingly engaged in a fight to the death with Nathan after he discovers his family lineage is to kill troubled Haven citizens.

Syfy renews 'Haven' for third season

Syfy’s Haven is getting a third season.

The series very loosely based on the Stephen King novella The Colorado Kid will be back in 2012 for another 13 episodes. The show, following investigations of supernatural events in a Maine town, averaged about 2.5 million viewers once DVR playback was added in.

The move follows Syfy renewing new drama Alphas, along with giving another season to Warehouse 13 and axing Eureka (aside from the upcoming final season). Yesterday, Syfy announced a premiere date for the second season of another scripted newcomer, Being Human — Jan. 16.

'Haven' star Emily Rose spills secrets on season 2: 'This year, people are dying left and right.' Plus, EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

The second season of Syfy’s supernatural procedural, Haven, kicks off tonight with an episode that catapults the show deeper into the mysteries that began in season 1, starting, of course, with last year’s cliffhanger that left the identity of the real Audrey Parker unknown.

As teased in last week’s Spoiler Room, star Emily Rose (Audrey Parker No. 1) spoke with EW about the new season and the identity crisis Audrey finds herself in at the beginning of this season, following the arrival of Audrey Parker (No. 2), played by Kathleen Munroe. And as an added bonus, check out TWO exclusive clips from tonight’s episode below!

We’ll make spoiler pie together! Also, this apple metaphor has gone on about five sentences too long. So I’m stopping now.

Send questions to (note the two “r”s) or Tweet them to me @EWSandraG.

Also, this week, the “side dishes” are the main course. (Clearly hungry right now… ) Enjoy!

Sandra, I’m betting you’ve already drooled over these pics of gun-wielding Joe Manganiello on the set of White Collar, right? What else can you tell me about his role (and how much heavage we’ll be seeing)? — Maggie READ FULL STORY
