Although iCarly will soon air its final episode, you may not have to bid farewell to the entire gang. EW has learned that Nickelodeon has ordered spin-off pilots for Sam Puckett (Jennette McCurdy) and Gibby Gibson (Noah Munck) from iCarly creator/executive producer Dan Schneider. Sam’s prospective show also would serve a spin-off vehicle for Cat Valentine (Ariana Grande), a popular character from Schneider’s other Nick comedy, Victorious. READ FULL STORY

iCarly may be winding down production on its final season, but it’s turning up the star power at least one more time: Emma Stone (The Help, Easy A) will make a cameo appearance on the Nick comedy, EW has learned. In the episode, which airs later this year, Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) & co. try to find Spencer (Jerry Trainor) some adult friends, and along the way, they cross paths with a high-energy iCarly uberfan portrayed by Stone. Here’s some guest casting you probably didn’t expect to see: Rick, Corey and Chumlee from History’s hit reality series Pawn Stars will play themselves on iCarly, EW has learned. How on earth did these two worlds collide? As it turns out, iCarly creator/exec producer Dan Schneider and his wife are big fans of the boys at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, and he offered them a spot on his Nickelodeon comedy.
In the episode, Sam (Jennette McCurdy) learns that her saucy mother is being held in a Las Vegas jail, so Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and the gang embark on a road trip to Sin City, where they pawn some of their prized possessions for bail money at a shop run by the three guys.

The gang at iCarly have gotten into some high-level high jinks over the years, but this time it’s going all the way up to the White House. Yes, the First Lady herself, Michelle Obama, will guest-star on an episode of the hit Nickelodeon sitcom airing Jan. 16 at 8 p.m.
What exactly brings President Obama’s better half to Seattle? When Carly’s dad, an Air Force colonel, can’t make it home for his birthday celebration, Carly’s friends set up a webcast so Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) can communicate with him at a military base. With a few Secret Service agents in tow (including one played by… Saturday Night Live’s Taran Killam!), Mrs. Obama surprises Carly and Co. to commend them for supporting military families (as part of the First Lady’s Joining Forces initiative). The kids invite her to appear on iCarly, and not only does she oblige, she even engages in some random dancing. Below, you can sneak a peak at a clip featuring the First Lady, a.k.a. “Your Excellency.” READ FULL STORY
First Lady Michelle Obama will appear on an upcoming episode of Nickelodeon’s iCarly to promote Joining Forces, an initiative aimed at increasing awareness and support for military families, according to the Associated Press. In the episode, which will likely air in January, Obama gets involved after two of Carly’s friends break some rules so that she can have have a web chat with her dad, who’s in the military serving overseas. “The First Lady discovers it and comes to have a chat with them in the most positive way possible,” network president Cyma Zarghami said Wednesday.
On The Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons plays someone who would like to believe that he’s ahead of his time. Now on iCarly, he’ll play someone who claims that he actually is. EW has learned that the Emmy-winning actor will guest star on Miranda Cosgrove’s hit Nickelodeon sitcom as Caleb, a psychiatric patient who thinks that he hails from the future. He winds up befriending Carly and Co. when they visit the ward. Parsons, who is currently appearing on Broadway in The Normal Heart, shoots his guest spot today; the episode will air later this year as part of the show’s fourth season. Jane Lynch and Jack Black have also popped up in season 4, which is averaging 6.4 million viewers per episode.
Nickelodeon has revealed the nominees for this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards. Predictably, the list is dominated by stars and properties from the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon itself, especially the TV categories — for Favorite TV Show, kids can choose between Big Time Rush, iCarly, The Suite Life on Deck, and Wizards of Waverly Place, while the Favorite TV Actress category pits Miranda Cosgrove, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Victorious‘s Victoria Justice against one another. (Gomez and Cyrus are both nominated for Favorite Female Singer as well.) Kid-friendly stars like Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Will Ferrell, and Kristen Stewart are also up for various awards; read the full list of nominees here. The 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards will air live on Saturday, April 2 at 8 p.m. Jack Black will return to host the ceremony a third time.
