Neil Patrick Harris will be James Lipton’s guest on Feb. 12 when Inside the Actors Studio premieres its 21st season. It’s fortuitous timing for Bravo, as Harris will be hosting the Academy Awards on Feb. 22. It will be the actor’s first solo sit-down on the show, though he did join the cast of How I Met Your Mother on the program last spring. READ FULL STORY

Here’s one interview that’s sure to be legendary.
The cast of How I Met Your Mother — Josh Radnor, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Segel, and Cobie Smulders — will appear on Inside the Actors Studio later this month. The group interview, hosted by James Lipton, is part of the lead-up to the finale of the long-running sitcom, which makes its exit Mar. 31.
Bravo has released a few excerpts from the taping, including Radnor explaining what he likes best about the comedy: “I’ve always loved [that] it’s not a cynical show,” he explained. “It’s a show that lets people love each other, and express that love. The whole point of the show is about love and the search for love…and it’s also about family…a kind of modern family.”
No word on whether the cast shares any insight about any of the recent ending rumors that have flooded the Internet.
The Arrested Development cast is about to get locked up with Warden Stefan Gentles: Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Alia Shawkat, Jeffrey Tambor, Jessica Walter, and creator Mitch Hurwitz will sit down with James Lipton on Inside the Actors Studio, premiering Thursday, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
The Actors Studio host memorably appeared on the show as Warden Gentles, and Hurwitz reveals in the episode that he always had him in mind. “As I was in the pilot phase, I was already thinking about interesting casting, and it was Liza Minnelli and you,” he said to Lipton, also referencing Minnelli’s role as Lucille 2.
Lipton, for his part, is getting ready for the big premiere with his very own AD-worthy chicken dance:

And while her role as a dentist who sexually harasses her employee (Charlie Day) in this weekend’s hilarious, raunchy comedy Horrible Bosses most certainly proves she can (Rachel may have hit on her assistant Tag, but never like this), there’s still no way of ever totally escaping Rachel. But Aniston is okay with that.
The actress, who appears on the next installment of Inside the Actor’s Studio airing Monday, July 11 on Bravo at 8 p.m., explained to host James Lipton why she’ll never let Rachel or Friends go. READ FULL STORY
