Comedian Jeffrey Ross aimed to offend at this weekend’s taping of the Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne, but the network has decided to cut his most controversial joke from the airing of the show, EW confirms.
Ross used last month’s shooting in Aurora, Colo. as comic fodder during his time at the podium, comparing red-headed fellow roaster Seth Green to accused shooter James Holmes, then adding, “I’m kidding!
