Three faces familiar to TV viewers have been confirmed as joining broadcast drama pilots slated for next season.
Anthony LaPaglia is returning to CBS to lead the network’s untitled terrorism drama from Nikki Toscano (Revenge) and Kerry Ehrin (Bates Motel). The actor, who could be seen on Without a Trace for seven seasons, will play a retired CIA operative-turned-high school football coach. When a catastrophic event hits Washington, D.C., he is pulled back into action to investigate the new generation of terrorists.
LaPaglia won a Golden Globe and earned Emmy and SAG nominations for his role as Jack Malone on CBS’s Without a Trace. He also won an Emmy for a guest spot on Frasier.
