Jimmy Fallon's first 'Tonight Show' guests include Justin Timberlake, Michelle Obama

It’s no secret that U2 will be the first musical guest to take the stage when The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon premieres Feb. 17, but now they have some company. Viewers who tune in during Fallon’s first week can expect to see performances by Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, and more. Additionally, Fallon will feature a stacked lineup of non-musical guests, including Jerry Seinfeld and first lady Michelle Obama.

Paul Rudd, John Goodman, Jimmy Fallon to host 'SNL' in December

Saturday Night Live has lined up its next three host/musical guest combos — a group of returning favorites that includes perennial favorites like John Goodman, Jimmy Fallon, and Justin Timberlake.

Anchorman 2 star Paul Rudd will host for the third time Dec. 7, with returning musical guest One Direction. Rudd last appeared on SNL in 2010, hosting with musical guest Paul McCartney; the British boy band first appeared on SNL in 2012. Their next album, Midnight Memories, drops Nov. 25.

On Dec. 14, the show will welcome back host John Goodman — who has hosted the sketch show 12 times already, albeit not since 2001. (Time capsule alert: The musical guest on Goodman’s last show was Ja Rule.) This time around, he’ll be joined by Grammy-winning band Kings of Leon, making their third SNL appearance. Goodman currently stars on Alpha House, Amazon’s first scripted series. The Kings’ latest album, Mechanical Bull, was released Sept. 24.

And Dec. 21′s special Christmas episode will feature a pair of ringers: Host Jimmy Fallon and musical guest Justin Timberlake. Fallon, a former SNL cast member, currently hosts NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and will take over The Tonight Show on Feb. 17. Though he has hosted SNL only once before (in 2011), he’s made several cameo appearances since leaving the show in 2004. Timberlake, meanwhile, will make his fifth appearance as musical guest — and his second in 2013 alone. Both he and Fallon have won the Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for hosting SNL in the past. Earlier this year, the pair also collaborated for a special Late Night event called “Timberweek,” which featured new Timberlake sketches, performances, and/or interviews on five consecutive episodes.

Justin Timberlake books a week with Jimmy Fallon

Timber-fans rejoice! NBC announced that Justin Timberlake has booked a whole week of appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Beginning March 11, the actor-producer-singer-honorary comedian will perform each night of the week. On Monday and Friday, he’ll sit down with Fallon — presumably to talk about the March 19 release of The 20/20 Experience, which just might redefine which Instagram filter we use to watch music.

Can we assume The Roots will be the backing band? Can we assume that ?uestlove will do a dreamy-smooth spin on JT’s new dreamy-smooth songs? Can we assume that there will be at least one sketch that involves Justin as the newest footman in Downton Sixbey?

We can’t assume, but we can dream.

Justin Timberlake to host 'SNL' for the fifth time in March

Saturday Night Live is bringing sexy back… again. NBC’s sketch series announced today that perennial favorite Justin Timberlake will return to the show as both host and musical guest on March 9. His third solo album, the hotly anticipated 20/20 Experience, will drop ten days later, on March 19.

The week before Timberlake’s homecoming, actor and comedian Kevin Hart will make his hosting debut. Hart currently stars in and produces the Must List-approved Real Husbands of Hollywood on BET; he also hosted MTV’s Video Music Awards last year. SNL‘s March 2 show will feature “Thrift Shop” rappers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis as musical guests.
