Cameron Diaz and Jessica Alba to present at ESPYs

Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel will present at this year’s ESPY Awards, the annual gala that mixes athletes with celebrities as ESPN celebrates the best and brightest in the world of sports. The Sex Tape stars will be handing out the hardware along with Jessica Alba, Kiefer Sutherland, and Jim Parsons. This year’s event, hosted by Drake, will take place on July 16.

The world of sports is an unusual industry to hand out awards for being the “best” or the “greatest”—since those issues typically get settled on the field, court, etc. But ESPN has successfully leveraged its relationships with jocks and beautiful people to make the ESPYs a high-profile event, now celebrating its 22nd telecast. Drake follows an impressive list of hosts that includes Jon Hamm, Seth Meyers, Justin Timberlake, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jamie Foxx.

Additional celebrity presenters for this year’s event will be announced at a later date.

Kiefer Sutherland explains why one CIA operative wanted him to call his mom -- LISTEN!

Jack Bauer is almost back. Ahead of the May 5 debut of 24: Live Another Day, Kiefer Sutherland sat down with Entertainment Weekly editor Matt Bean for a SiriusXM Town Hall premiering May 2 at 7 p.m. ET on Entertainment Weekly Radio (SiriusXM 105). Sutherland took questions from the audience, including one that led him to recount the story of a real CIA operative recognizing him on a ski lift and the conversation that ensued. The gentleman was a fan of the Fox drama but had one request: “He said, ‘I would really like it if you could call my mother and explain to her why I can’t get everything done in 24 hours,’” Sutherland says. “And so I apologized to him profusely.”

Listen to the clip below. Another fan, who’d marathoned 24, asked Sutherland which shows he’s binge-watched. Find out the answer in our second sneak peek. READ FULL STORY

'24: Live Another Day': Jack Bauer warns of a 'world war' -- VIDEO

Jack Bauer’s on the clock again in 24: Live Another Day, and he’s looking as conflicted as ever.

In the first episodic footage released from the new 12-part series revival, a somewhat haggard — yet always dangerous — Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is living in London in exile. Four years have passed since the events of the 24 finale, and now the American president is in danger. The U.S. government needs Bauer’s help, despite viewing him as a “traitor” and “psychopath.”

“If an American president is assassinated on foreign soil, you’re looking at a world war,” Bauer warns, while fully admitting: “There’s no going home for me.”

24: Live Another Day premieres May 5 on Fox.
