Kim Kardashian has been a staple of the reality-show circuit for almost a decade now, but she’s adding another scripted credit to her resume—this time on a Michael Patrick King comedy.
The star tweeted that she will appear in an episode of CBS’ 2 Broke Girls, which is set to air on Monday, Oct. 27. Kardashian did not mention whether she will be playing herself or a new character on the show. Her most recent forays into comedy, both on How I Met Your Mother and a live episode of 30 Rock, however, indicate it will more likely be the former. Kardashian’s other scripted work includes a four-episode arc on Drop Dead Diva and guest spots on CSI: NY and American Dad.

Kris Jenner worked her magic — and familial connections, of course — to land an interview with the typically media-shy Kanye West, the father of her granddaughter North. Kanye stopped by the set of Kris on Monday to tape an hour-long interview that will air this week.
West, who welcomed his first child with girlfriend Kim Kardashian in June, opens up to Jenner about his baby girl, falling in love with Kim, and dealing with the press.
He also addresses President Obama’s comments last month about how celebrities like Kanye and Kim have shifted the idea of the American dream. “There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous,” the president said at the time. “Kids weren’t monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success.”
Kris airs on select Fox stations, including in New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas. Stay tuned for more info on when Kanye’s interview will air.

Barbara Walters is known for her restrained interview technique, her unflappable professionalism in the face of blubbering celebrities and tough-as-nails politicians. But there’s one bold-faced name — and an unexpected one at that — who inspired a rise in Walters’ usually measured timbre when she spoke with EW about her upcoming special, Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011. “I loved doing the interview,” spilled Walters of tart-tongued, deep-V-rocking X Factor host Simon Cowell.
Cowell was just one of the eight people Walters interviewed for tonight’s special, which runs 90 minutes for the first time in its 18-year history. Others included the Kardashians, Katy Perry, Donald Trump, and Derek Jeter. She will also profile Pippa Middleton and Amanda Knox.
