Lady Gaga, Josh Hutcherson to host 'Saturday Night Live'

The boy with the bread and the lady with the meat dress are both coming to SNL. (Sandwich time!)

NBC has just announced its next two Saturday Night Live hosts. On Nov. 16, the series will return from a week-long break with an episode helmed entirely by Lady Gaga. Though Gaga has twice appeared on SNL as a musical guest and has cameoed in a few memorable sketches, this will be her first time hosting the show. Gaga’s next album, Artpop, drops Nov. 11.

SNL will continue its first-time-host trend the following week, when it welcomes Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson on Nov. 23. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters Nov. 22. Hutcherson will be joined by musical guest Haim, the buzzy L.A. band that made a splash this fall with the release of its debut studio album, Days Are Gone.

Lady Gaga teams up with her littlest monsters, the Muppets, for another holiday spectacular

Mother Monster is teaming up with some other Little Monsters for Lady Gaga and the Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular!, a 90-minute special on ABC, airing Nov. 28 from 9:30 to 11 p.m. ET. Thanksgiving must be Gaga’s favorite holiday, as she also hosted A Very Gaga Thanksgiving on ABC in 2011.

Gaga — whose ARTPOP album arrives Nov. 11 — is a veteran groupie of the Muppet gang too, taking Kermit as her date to the 2009 VMAs, featuring Jim Henson creations on her Monster Ball Tour and, of course, there was the time she wore Kermit as a cape.

The holiday spectacular will also include Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and RuPaul, along with a guest appearance from Kristen Bell. Miss Piggy must have really pulled some strings!

What do you think? Will you be sharing your Turkey Day with Lady Gaga and Kermit?

Lady Gaga is coming to Springfield this Sunday? To paraphrase Mr. Burns: “Eggcellent!”

How exactly does the monster pop star wind up in town? When Lisa’s scheme to boost her popularity at school goes horribly wrong, Gaga, who happens to be chugging past Springfield on the Gaga Express, magically intuits that her help is needed. She’s determined to cheer up Lisa — and the rest of Springfield — by all means necessary, including through song and flash mob. In this clip from the episode, you will see that Lisa isn’t exactly going gaga for Gaga, and that hurts Gaga’s feelings. And when Gaga’s feelings get hurt, something priceless happens.
