Lance Armstrong turns down 'Dancing With the Stars' -- EXCLUSIVE

Lance Armstrong may not be able to race the Tour de France again. But ABC definitely wants him on Dancing With the Stars.

Sources say the ABC reality hit offered the former professional cyclist a spot on the upcoming spring edition of the veteran reality series. Armstrong declined.

Sources say Armstrong is among several high-profile “big get” celebrities who are regularly asked to join the show. Confirmed Armstrong’s spokesperson: “Lance has been offered the show each and every year since its inception. Although flattered he has passed on their generous offers.”

The news comes on the heels of Lindsay Lohan declining to appear on Dancing this season (and reportedly rejecting $550,000 in the process). We suspect she’ll cave someday.

Dancing will return with a new cast on March 18.
