The addition of Megan Mullally to the cast of Fox’s Christian Slater comedy Breaking In (Tuesdays, 9:30 p.m. ET) is making the series more of an office-set show, so it seemed only fitting to invite her to visit our own New York offices. She chose to accept two missions while on EW turf: Tease upcoming story lines (look for her in a future Spoiler Room column), and “break in” to a handful of staffers’ offices and tell us the one thing she’d steal from each of them.

On Breaking In, Mullally’s character, Veronica, is the new boss at the high-tech security firm, and she is beginning to make friends. “At the beginning of the series, they were going in one direction that they were asked to go in by the network, and then, the network kind of changed its mind a little bit and asked them to go in a different direction, which is lighter, more comedic,” Mullally says. “Now that more episodes are coming, it’s clearer that it’s more about the people in the office and their relationships to each other than people going out on capers and missions.”
