Crossover stunts have become as ubiquitous as season-ending character deaths. And let’s face it, more times than not they’re probably conceived at a network marketing retreat instead of inside a writers room — which is probably why many of them come off feeling like blatant ratings-boosting promotional gimmicks. But I’m here to tell you that this week’s NCIS/NCIS: LA mash-up is different, and I can give you at least two reasons why. First off, it revolves around the undeniably awesome Pauley Perrette. And second, because it results in the first face-to-face encounter between Abby and Linda Hunt’s Hetty — a memorable run-in you won’t have to wait ’till tomorrow night to watch thanks to the following exclusive first look… READ FULL STORY »

Question: House writer Tommy Moran tweeted that episode 14 is big for Cuddy. My question for you is how big? —Anna
Ausiello: So big that I hear Cuddy will be sharing her bed with two different people by the end of the hour.
Question: I feel an urge to poison my liver with a bottle of 150-buck Russian vodka after the rumor I just heard regarding episode 14 of House. Cuddy and Lucas are going to have sex? Seriously? What does your mole say about it? Can I head to the liquor store? Should I buy some Valium just in case? —Andie
Ausiello: I hope you’re sitting down Andie because I have some earth-shattering news for you. Cuddy and Lucas have already had sex. Lots of it. That’s what boys and girls do when they’re in a romantic relationship. Now, as far as the Feb. 8 episode goes, all I’ll say is that Cuddy does, in fact, have a sexual encounter.
Question: I need some House scoop! —Raymond
Ausiello: House is going to pull some strings to get someone a job at Princeton Plainsboro in early ’10. And someone else (a current employee) is not going to be happy about it. READ FULL STORY »
Oh my Goth, Abby is going to L.A.!
Pauley Perrette’s NCIS lab rat-slash-tattoo enthusiast will cross over (for real) to NCIS: LA this November, sources confirm to me exclusively.
While Abby has talked to the Left Coast expansion team on the phone, this will be her first time touching down at LAX. Sadly, it looks like it won’t be much of a vacation, READ FULL STORY »
NCIS: LA is giving Chris O’Donnell’s naval stud his first significant crush this November in the form of actress Monet Mazur.
The star of 40 Days and 40 Nights and Monster-in-Law will play the potentially recurring role of Natalie Buccola, a bright and confident secret service agent who develops a flirtation with O’Donnell’s Callen.
Mazur is scheduled to first appear in episode 6.
The diminutive, husky-voice Hunt will play an efficient and hard-nosed former film industry technician who now oversees the “backroom” support staff — the folks tasked with providing everything from micro surveillance cameras to cars for the team.
“Nothing fazes her,” says exec producer Shane Brennan. “But as tough as she might seem, she genuinely cares about Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and the team.”
Hunt’s hiring marks the latest tweak to the spin-off’s evolving ensemble. Louise Lombard, who appeared in the backdoor pilot as Macy, was dismissed last month. It’s still unclear whether she’ll be replaced.
