Watch Nick meet Jess' new conquest on 'New Girl'

In the wake of their cruise ship breakup during the season 3 finale, it’s been inevitable that Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) would eventually find loveor at least lustback on land, and the latest episode shows our New Girl closer to bagging a new man than ever before.

After Jess’ pitiful attempt at a wedding hookup and Nick’s not-so-smooth flirting over sponge hatred (sex doesn’t count if we didn’t see it, show!), Jess finds an incredibly handsome new prospect played by The Hunger Games: Catching Fire star Alan Ritchson. But, as an episode called “Micro” suggests, there’s just one small thing he can’t Gloss over…

Find out below why Jess gets shy around this new guy, and how Nick reacts to his ex on the prowl. READ FULL STORY

'Cosby Show' alum Lisa Bonet is coming to 'New Girl'

LISA-BONET.jpg

Denise Huxtable’s heading to New Girl.

The Cosby Show alum Lisa Bonet has landed a guest role on the Fox comedy, EW has confirmed.

As TVLine first reported, Bonet will play an education guru at a teachers’ conference that Jess and Coach attend. At the conference, Jess is paired with Julian Morris’ Ryan, the “distractingly handsome” new teacher who replaces Jess when she takes the vice principal position. Ryan is slated to make his New Girl debut on Oct. 14.

New Girl airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Fox.

See Kaitlin Olson of 'It's Always Sunny' get bawdy over brunch on 'New Girl'

The first two episodes of New Girl‘s fourth season focused on Jess Day’s (Zooey Deschanel) pursuit of love, but the latest installment takes Jess’s eyes off her own romantic conquests when her father Bob (Rob Reiner) breezes into town with a new girlfriend who has plenty of high school history with Jess.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Kaitlin Olson, who plays the girlfriend in question, talked to EW about crashing the loft tonight for the first of a three-episode arc. “When they offered it to me, I said, ‘Only if there’s full frontal with Rob Reiner,'” she laughs. And, while Olson can’t promise that we’ll see that much of Bob or Ashley (the titular character of “Julie Berkman’s Older Sister”), there will be some incredibly uncomfortable (and explicit) brunch conversation.

'New Girl' sneak peek: Nick gets stoned, Jess tries online dating

When Schmidt (Max Greenfield) schooling Jess (Zooey Deschanel) in the deceptive art of online dating is the second biggest takeaway of an episode of New Girl, you know things are going to to get legitimately crazy.

Indeed, this exclusive clip showing a stoned Nick (Jake Johnson) takes the cake—and probably eats it like Fat Schmidt in his heyday. Joined by Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.) and Cece (Hannah Simone), Nick practically reverts back to his Baja jacket-wearing college self in the latest episode, “Dice.”

The ep’s title comes from the aforementioned, Tinder-like app. In a second clip, Schmidt teaches Jess to roll the Dice as she continues to move on from Nick. For his part, the Z Is for Zombie author isn’t doing much moving when the weed sends him into a spiral of circular logic and repetition not unlike a malfunctioning Fembot.

So just how do Winston and a party full of LAPD officers come into play? Find out below. READ FULL STORY

'New Girl' boss teases season full of sex

New Girl will be hitting the reset button on its fourth season, bringing the show back to basics without the messiness of Nick and Jess’ relationship bogging down the Fox comedy.

Instead, all six of the show’s main characters are now single, providing a new wealth of comedy as they attempt to get back out there with various incoming guest-stars. “If you’re an actor and you want to have sex with one of the New Girl cast members, call Liz Meriwether to figure it out,” the show’s creator jokes of the new season.

But does that mean Nick and Jess are done for good? And will Schmidt and Cece get back together? Below, Meriwether teases what’s in store for the ragtag sextet:

See Jessica Biel make a tart entrance in 'New Girl' season 4 premiere

As New Girl kicks off its fourth season, the gang attends a wedding, and everyone is in the mood for lust.

It’ll be no surprise to diehard roomfriends that Jess (Zooey Deschanel) is the loftmates’ best hope in this arena—but she has one major obstacle in the form of sexy genius Kat (guest star Jessica Biel), who’s also vying for the affections of the best man (Reid Scott).

In this exclusive First Look, Jess and Kat exchange rapid-fire barbs as Kat lays out the argument for why she should get first dibs on the only guy within a garter’s throw. Jess’s cogent, hard-hitting response? Kill her opponent with kindness… or just confuse her with a “vagina voice.” READ FULL STORY

Will Peralta and Santiago get together on Brooklyn Nine-Nine? — Constance
It won’t be long before Jake returns to the 9-9, but he’ll be a little busy taking down mobsters to focus on his love life. Of course, the big elephant in the room is addressed, but you’ll be surprised by what route Paralta takes once he’s back on the squad. However, the real shocker is how Gina handles what happened with Boyle in the finale.

Got anything on Revenge? — Ciara
You may be asking yourself why Jack suddenly becomes friends with a cop (Client List’s Brian Hallisay) after finding himself on the wrong side of the law last season. That’s easy: Jack is actually putting on a badge. However, despite his new position, Charlotte has been unable to forgive him for his part in her kidnapping, which will put them at odds at the annual Memorial Day party. (Oh yes, the party is still happening, it’s just being hosted by someone else while Victoria is in the loony bin.) READ FULL STORY

Can you tease how Amelia will fit in on Grey’s Anatomy next season? — Carla
How she’ll fit into Grey Sloan will all depend on whether or not Derek takes the D.C. job, which causes some “frustrating complications,” executive producer Shonda Rhimes tells me. But Amelia will make a surprising connection at the hospital, just not with who you’d think. “There’s a moment early on when she finds herself the keeper of some secrets that Richard didn’t necessarily want her to know by being at an AA meeting that he didn’t know she was at,” Rhimes says. “It draws her into the world in a deeper way than she anticipated.” Hmm, I wonder what that secret could be.

Who’s that girl? It’s… an Idiot.

That’s according to New Girl‘s season 4 imagery. EW can exclusively reveal the first one-sheet for the Fox comedy, which finds Jess (Zooey Deschanel) in fine company, including—but not limited to—her ex-boyfriend/roomfriend Nick (Jake Johnson).
