CBS and Warner Bros. announced today that The CW and Hulu have struck a five-year licensing deal to allow the website to stream CW shows on Hulu and Hulu Plus. This encompasses network tentpoles 90210, America’s Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, and The Vampire Diaries, as well as Ringer, Hart of Dixie, The Secret Circle, and Nikita. Under the agreement, up to five in-season episodes will only be featured on Hulu Plus for eight days following the broadcast, at which point they will be available on the ad-supported free Hulu site. “The CW programming is a great example of the kind of in-season content we want to make available,” said Hulu’s SVP of Content Andy Forssell. “Making these shows available on Hulu and Hulu Plus will allow new and existing fans to get their fix of The CW’s great shows anytime and anywhere.”

‘GOSSIP GIRL’: EP TALKS MORE ON ‘SLEEP NO MORE,’
How much did you love this news? I was so excited I even circled Nov. 14 in my calendar and drew a creepy mask by the date to remind myself. But in case you need even more reasons to be excited about the impending romantic entanglements in this very special episode, executive producer Josh Safran told me that much “like masked balls in the past, there are multiple kisses — between multiple people” in the episode. “Like, quadratic couples, I’d say,” he teases. Could that have something to do with the “big kiss” everyone has been asking me about? Possibly… READ FULL STORY
Michael and Nikita have had far from a smooth ride this season, but at least they’ve had each other to lean on as life as rogue spies continues to get more difficult. But that might not be the case for much longer…
CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. Television Group have signed a four-year deal with Netflix that will allow its customers to instantly watch more than 700 hours of previous seasons of scripted series that currently air on The CW, including episodes of Ringer, Hart of Dixie, The Secret Circle, The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, 90210, Supernatural, Nikita, and One Tree Hill.
“This is a forward-thinking agreement … that opens a new door for The CW programming to expand its audience reach through the terrific Netflix service, and creates a brand-new window for CBS and Warner Bros. to be paid for the content we supply the network,” said Leslie Moonves, president and CEO of the CBS Corporation, in a statement. When we last saw Owen (Devon Sawa) on Nikita, he was armed with enough of his Division-supplied pill regimen to stave off the effects of withdrawal for a while. When he crosses paths with Nikita and Michael tonight, however, he’s coming toward to the tail end of his supply — but instead of seeking more, he’s looking to get clearn.
“Before he turns into what Michael calls ‘the Tasmanian devil’ again, he’s gotta find a way to wean himself off of it,” Sawa tells EW. READ FULL STORY

It’s about that time again.
And I’m particularly excited going into this weekend because I’m days away from making my maiden voyage to Canada. (No, not to track the history of Robin Sparkles.) That’s right, my little maple leaves, I’m headed north to visit the sets of Once Upon a Time, Alcatraz, Supernatural, and The Secret Circle. Exciting, right? So send me your questions for the stars of those shows ASAP!

‘HIMYM’: READER QUESTIONS ANSWERED
It’s no secret I’ve been mildly obsessed with How I Met Your Mother lately. And judging by the caliber and depth of your questions, I’m not alone! So while chatting with creator Carter Bays about last week’s episode, I threw in a few of your questions as well! The fruits of your labors are below! READ FULL STORY

System failing. Too much TV. Abort! Abort!
Anyone else feeling a little overwhelmed by all the amazing television this week? Well, buck up, sissy pants! Fall TV is not for the weak. It’s for the bravest, strongest, most wonderfully reclusive individuals. Together we will conquer.
That said, I need your help. Be sure you’re sending in your scoop requests, sharing your TV ponderings, and telling me your general shows of interest so I can make sure I’m filling your need for scoops during this hectic TV time. (Send e-mails to email@example.com or follow me on Twitter: @EWSandraG) Until next week!
(Side note: In case you missed it, we also had a special Emmy scoops edition earlier this week that you can read here.)
DEXTER REVISITS THE PAST IN AWESOME PREMIERE
Last season of Dexter ended with the door open for anything to happen. Lumen lost her darkness and left, Dexter had taken down the season’s villain, and there was even a small note of optimism on his part that he could one day live without his own darkness following him.
On Oct. 2, we pick up with Harrison starting pre-school and Dexter very much at peace with his darkness. And, dare I say, enjoying it again.
Without ruining too much (because I honestly felt incredibly psyched by the premiere and want you to experience it for yourself), much of the episode centers around Dexter tracking down a potential victim at his 20th high school reunion. There, we not only get a great picture of who Dexter was as a high school student, but also get a good laugh out how his classmates perceive him now. (He’s… popular!)
We’re also introduced to Colin Hanks and Edward James Olmos’ demented characters. I can happily report that the first murder they are responsible for is one of the most disgusting ones I’ve ever seen on the show. Congrats, newbies! READ FULL STORY
Welcome to Spoiler Room: Jen’s Edition. Kidding. But also not really. After wrapping up today’s column, I realized I chose four questions from people named Jen. I promise you, this is not an act of favoritism. But now I’m really curious how many of you are out there.
Regardless, if you ask, I’ll answer. So get askin’! Send your questions, ponderings, new show scoop requests, and post-premiere reactions to firstname.lastname@example.org. And if many of your names happen to be Jen, fantastic. (Your move, Sarahs.)
‘GREY’S ANATOMY’: FINALLY SOME MER/DER FOR YOU
I can’t tell you how often I get harassed lovingly asked for Meredith and Derek scoop, and after sitting through next week’s two-hour premiere with my mouth hanging open for 80 minutes (two hours, minus commercials), here’s what you’re going to get out of me on Mer/Der, Crowen, and Alex (who is sans nickname because he’s all alone. Poor Alex). READ FULL STORY
No time for small talk, today. Sorry. A storm a’brewin’ on the East Coast!
I have TV on DVD to purchase, windows to tape, snacks to buy, and an entire wall of attractive celebrities to encase in plexiglass in the event water levels reach EW’s third floor!
Thankfully, I will still be able to check your scoop requests over the weekend, so send them in! (email@example.com — Remember, if you don’t ask, you’ll never know!) Also, follow the progression of my hurricane-cause cabin fever on Twitter: @EWSandraG.
See you next week… (I hope). READ FULL STORY
Did you know the first 100 words of this column are the last 100 words I write every week? I say this for two reasons: 1) If you’ve ever noticed the coherency of this column increases as you work your way through it, you now know why. 2) You now also have an incentive to click to the second page of this column. (Yes! I’m paginated now! << I don’t know if that statement is the “Spoiler Room” speaking or yours truly. I’m going to say it’s the “room” since I, in fact, am not paginated.)
At any rate, take note of the little number “2″ because it’s your path 2 more scoop. (See what I did there.) Hey, I warned you just one paragraph ago…
Remember to send scoop requests to firstname.lastname@example.org (note to the two smooshed “r”s) and follow me on Twitter for more things that don’t make a lot of sense and a few things that do (like TV scoop!). @EWSandraG READ FULL STORY
