Broken heart takes spotlight in new 'Normal Heart' poster

Ryan Murphy’s upcoming HBO movie The Normal Heart has its first official poster, featuring a shattered glass heart.

Glee and American Horror Story showrunner Murphy adapted The Normal Heart from Larry Kramer’s play of the same name, which follows the HIV/AIDS crisis in New York during the 1980s. The film stars Mark Ruffalo, Taylor Kitsch, Julia Roberts, Matt Bomer, and Jim Parsons.

The Normal Heart premieres on HBO May 25 at 9 p.m.

'Breaking Bad' final season poster: Remember his name

Breaking Bad is ready to cook up one last time. AMC unveiled a new poster to coincide with the premiere of the final eight episodes of the critically acclaimed show. Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a.k.a. Heisenberg, glares and stands confidently in the desert, bald head gleaming in the sun. This Walter is a far cry from the desperate teacher with hair (and without pants) featured on season one promotional art.

Lena Dunham faces her critics in new 'Girls' season 2 poster

Get ready, Internet: Only four more weeks before your Twitter feed is once again dominated by people arguing about Girls. HBO’s love-it-or-hate-it comedy returns January 13, promising more 20-something hijinks, more awkward sex, and lots more Lena Dunham — the series’ 26-year-old creator/writer/star/director/best boy.

Unsurprisingly, Dunham herself is front and center on the show’s new season 2 poster. The image is a close-up of the multihyphenate’s slightly hopeful face, emblazoned with an appropriately cheeky tagline: “Almost getting it kind of together.” Jury’s out on whether Dunham would be naked if the camera zoomed out. Ryan Murphy tweets new 'Glee' posters -- but where's Quinn?

Another day, another Gleeful bit of scoop from Ryan Murphy’s Twitter. The busiest man in show business has whetted fan appetites with a pair of new posters for his musical dramedy’s fourth season.

The first evokes Glee posters of old and focuses on Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), who’s due to discover that NYADA can be just as icy as the halls of McKinley High. Only this time, the frost isn’t coming from mean-girl cheerleaders — but from her very own dance teacher.

The second is a group shot that features both new and returning cast members, with one glaring exception: Dianna Agron’s Quinn is nowhere to be found. And while the poster includes pointed signs for the various cities where McKinley’s alumni are now living — New York, Los Angeles, Lima, St. Louis — there’s no arrow reading “New Haven,” where Quinn is attending college. Does this mean the former Cheerio captain is off the show for good?

Not so fast, says Murphy: “Gleeks, please relax,” he tweeted shortly after releasing the second poster. “Dianna is still on the show. We love her and have great plans for Quinn. #QuinnFabrayLives.” Unless she keeps texting and driving, of course.

Check out large versions of both posters below.

ABC's 'Last Resort' marketing poster unveiled -- PHOTO

Arguably the fall’s most ambitious new drama, ABC’s Last Resort, now has its fall key art. ABC will use this poster to market the latest drama from The Shield mastermind Shawn Ryan, who’s a creator and showrunner of the drama along with Karl Gajdusek. Last Resort stars Andre Braugher as a U.S. submarine captain faced with a tough decision after receiving a not-entirely-confirmed command to start World War III.

What do you mean, “There’s no submarine in the ad”? It’s there… it’s just under the water — it’s a submarine! While that shadowy soldier is co-star Scott Speedman. Here’s the exclusive first look at the poster for the show, which debuts Thursday, Sept. 27: READ FULL STORY

ABC's curiously sexy '666 Park Ave.' poster -- PHOTO

Behold the sultry marketing art for ABC’s new supernatural drama series 666 Park Ave. Aside from the small clutching couple at 12 o’clock (co-stars Dave Annable and Rachael Taylor), the poster manages to convey a darkly sexy mood with only a massive ornate staircase. But what a staircase! Why it almost reminds you of… of a… well, let’s just say if Georgia O’Keeffe and H.R. Giger got married and built a house, their staircase might look just like this. The tagline: “New York’s Most Seductive Address.”

Starring Terry O’ Quinn, 666 airs starting Sept. 30 after Revenge on Sundays. Here’s an exclusive first look: READ FULL STORY
