Hello from Texas!

That’s right, friends, I’m home for the holidays, and getting here was quite the event. (No wi-fi + planes + trains + automobiles = stress) So I hope you can forgive me for being a day later than normal with your scoop. If you can find it in your heart to pardon me, I invite you to gather ’round the Spoiler Room table for a delicious helping of TV dish!

I hope your Thanksgiving is filled with lots of joy, DVR clearing, and gluten-free pies. And should you find the time/need something to do while hiding from your family, I invite you to send in a question for the next column, which will come out Dec. 3. (Yay, vacation!) Contact info is as usual: spoilerroom@ew.com and @EWSandraG on Twitter.

CHANDRA WILSON ON BAILEY’S FUTURE … AND GREY’S ANATOMY

If you read my chat with Grey’s Anatomy‘s Chandra Wilson last week, then you know that Bailey will spend the next episodes “kicking and screaming” her way to the altar. But one thing Wilson thinks might help Bailey get into the groove a bit more? If Ben put a ring on it!

“My finger is light, that’s all I’m saying. It’s very, very light,” she says, laughing. “And he used to be an anesthesiologist. You’d think there would be some sort of bling involved. But her finger is rather light — at least for 2012. So we’ll see what happens going forward.” But regardless of Bailey’s left hand gets a little heavier, Wilson says Bailey is committed. “She’s going to see [it] through,” she says. “You can’t tell somebody you’re going to marry them and then play around.”

And while Bailey and Ben could have many happy years ahead of them, as always, questions are starting to arise about Grey‘s future. Now midway though its ninth season, Wilson says she is anything but tired. And while there won’t be official word about a tenth season for several months, she says she’s personally on board. “I think the consensus is that as long as our writers want to keep writing, we’re here to keep riding the ride,” she says. “As actors, we’re very cognizant of the opportunities we’ve been given. Sooner or later it will be the end.”

Even though New York is freezing, things are heating up in TV Land.

Okay, to be honest, it’s not that cold today; I just needed something to open the column with. Give me a break, you know how hard it is to come up with random openers every week? Does anyone actually read these two first paragraphs? Bueller? Bueller? Forget it. But don’t forget to send questions: spoilerroom@ew.com

‘THE WALKING DEAD’: MORE MAJOR CASUALTIES TO COME?
The collision with Woodbury is coming and Lauren Cohan couldn’t be more excited for fans of The Walking Dead to see it for themselves. “Maggie plays a big part in that,” she teases of the clash. “It’s going to be crazy!”

Crazy — and deadly, as one might expect. “The body count is not done,” she says. “That’s pretty much all I can say, but we’re not just going to see death. There’s going to be a whole host of challenges now that we’ve got the human threat. Woodbury is up to no good. The Governor is up to no good; it’s really scary. We’ve got some scary stuff ahead.”

And with the gang and Rick still reeling from at least two major losses (Carol = RIP?), exactly who will step up as the leader when the two camps finally meet is not entirely clear. The only guarantee? They’re going to have a formidable foe in the Gov. “It’s interesting to see within the prison [group that] people step up and lead even if they don’t want to. In Woodbury, the Governor steps up and takes control because that’s something he couldn’t have gotten away with in the real world. And that has absolutely no limits.”

In case you missed it, check out our longer chat with Cohan here.

'NCIS: LA,' 'Arrow,' 'Hawaii Five-0,' 'Bones,' 'Scandal': Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room

HURRICANE ME IS ON THE WAY!

But I’m not going to let pesky wind, rain, or Frankenstorms get in the way of giving you some scoop on your favorite shows. (It did, however, royally poop on some fun in-person chats I had set up. #NCIS #Revolution) However, we solider on.

Enjoy your offerings today. Make sure to keep sending questions to spoilerroom@ew.com and if you’re in the path of the storm, be careful, friends.

‘NCIS: LA’: WHICH COUPLE WILL BE K-I-S-S-I-N-G BY 2013?
I have been loving the flirting between Eric and Nell this season, it has been adorable to witness! Can we hope to see more of it this season and see that relationship continue?  – Cheryl

Remember the almost-kiss between Nell and Eric earlier this season? Remember how bummed you were that it didn’t happen? Well, be sad no longer: There’s a KISS COMING! “I won’t tell you which episode,” teases executive producer Shane Brennan. “But there is a kiss coming. It’s nerd love!” (Extra hints because I like you: It will air before December and they are NOT on a mission.)

Now, before Kensi and Deeks fans cry foul and claim they’ve been waiting for a love connection longer, Brennan is quick to point out that the two couples are on very different paths. “Nerds don’t hang around when it comes to love. They jump right in,” he jokes. “It certainly has developed. It’s an intellectual relationship that sometimes struggles to find its physicality, but that’s the nature of the characters. Whereas Kensi and Deeks there a playfulness and sexy tension.” Look for Nell and Eric to continue to sizzle this season, and, Brennan predicts, “If it’s a race to the end, I think they’re leading Kensi and Deeks.”

For much more on NCIS: LA, keep an eye out for my November sweeps preview tomorrow!

'Supernatural,' 'Scandal,' 'The Vampire Diaries,' 'CSI: NY': Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room

Hi, y’all! Happy almost-Halloween.

In between gathering scoops, I’m in the process of deciding what I’ll be wearing for the big night. So far, I’ve narrowed my options down to: an Observer, the Human Being, or bored single person. I know where I’m leaning but feel free to weigh in if you have a chance.

Meanwhile, make sure you’re emailing all your spoiler question to spoilerroom@ew.com or sending them via Twitter (@EWSandraG). Also, I’m taking other random TV questions via Vyou. I know, that’s a lot of me. Let’s move on:

‘SUPERNATURAL’: ‘THINGS QUICKLY FALL APART’
If you, like me, are still haunted by the image of Castiel calling out to Dean in Purgatory, sit back. I have some interesting intel for you.

While talking to Misha Collins about his charitable scavenger hunt (more about that here), he also confirmed a hunch we’d had about the last time Dean saw Cas. It was, in fact, while Dean was exiting Purgatory. But there’s much more to it than that. “That very moment is a pivotal moment. I think Dean is confused about what happened at that moment and won’t actually find out what happened then until episode 7,” he reveals. “It’s going to take a while to see that moment play out.” Suffice to say the truth hurts — especially on this show.

But when Cas does return topside, look for him to be “reinvigorated with a sense of purpose,” says Collins. “He essentially feels like he has to do good in order to right the wrongs of his past. So he starts to collaborate with Sam and Dean for that reason — so that he can continue to try to make things right. He’s no longer paying penance, really, because it’s no longer an act of suffering for him. But he’s doing his best to right the wrongs of his past.” Doing so won’t be as easy as he hopes, however. “He’s doing that in ways that help Sam and Dean and then, ultimately, it might also make life — as per usual with the Supernatural universe — complicated for Sam and Dean. At first, it seems like everything is hunky dory. But things quickly fall apart.”

There are two positives about Mondays: 1) I know an entire week of good TV programming awaits me. And 2) I know it’s the day I answer your questions! Yes, it’s actually fun.

So keep ‘em coming: spoilerroom@ew.com and follow me on Twitter for interview alerts, news, and Halloween candy rants. (@EWSandraG)

‘ARROW’ DISH!
The Arrow cast was out in full force during New York Comic-Con this weekend. (Also, this sizzle reel? AWESOME!) And I was lucky enough to snag a few minutes backstage with Stephen Amell and Katie Cassidy so they could answer a few questions for fans who made the premiere a record-breaker.

Will we see some Laurel/Oliver flashbacks any time soon? — Joy
“You’ll definitely get to see more of the history between Laurel and Oliver, and where they come from,” assures Cassidy, who adds that she loves playing a character with “a huge heart.” Which is also something that likely endears her to Oliver. “Laurel lost her sister because her boyfriend had an affair and invited her [on the boat]. It’s basically his fault. And I think if any man did this to me and my sisters, I would never forgive that person,” she says. “I feel like she has a lot of soul, and she’s clearly very strong because she tries to see the best in everyone. I think that says a lot about her.”

Sandra, can we please get Revenge/Arrow crossover? I think Emily and Oliver would make amazing partners! — Leslie
…And have amazingly beautiful justice-seeking babies! Ehem. No spoiler here because this is a crazy bananas idea. But, for the record, Amell is on board: “Let’s cross pollinate. Let’s do it. I don’t understand why we wouldn’t. Maybe ABC and CW would have issues, but that’s not for me to discuss. But in a perfect world, we would just do it.”

Sandra, please tell me we’re going to see that ladder thing on Arrow again. Please. Please. – Kristine
As I reported in this post-premiere scoop, no salmon ladder again any time soon. (Sniff.) But if it’s action you like, I hear there’s some very impressive machete stunts in this week’s episode (not to mention, a Kardashian joke). And in the seventh episode, there’s a fight scene that Amell is “very proud of” against a character that “D.C. comics fans will recognize.” “It’s another fight in my plain clothes and when I’m in my plain clothes, it has to be only me because I don’t have a hood on; you can’t hide my face,” he said. “It got a really nice reception from the crew after we shot it.”

Rachel Bilson answers 'Hart of Dixie' burning questions in Spoiler Room Video Edition

Rachel-Bilson.jpg

Hart of Dixie‘s second episode of the season airs Tuesday and while we already know what we can expect from BlueBellapalooza, there’s much more to come — like a camping trip, an armadillo, George “sowing his oats,” and possibly an amendment to the “decision” Zoe made in last week’s season premiere.

Rachel Bilson spilled on all this and more as she took on some questions that y’all sent in for your Spoiler Room video. READ FULL STORY »

I’m simply floored by the amount of great TV on right now. Maybe I’m addicted. Maybe I need a life. And maybe I don’t care. It’s too much fun.

Also a blast? Answering your questions. So keep ‘em coming: spoilerroom@ew.com and via Twitter @EWSandraG.

‘HOMELAND’: WHAT NOW?!
If you haven’t watched last night’s episode, I recommend you skip over this little section.

I know, it’s rare that I give a spoiler warning within a spoiler column, but I would never want to ruin something as big as what happened at the end of last night’s Homeland. Just when I thought I had an idea of where the season was headed, my theory blew up in my face just two episodes in! READ FULL STORY »

Daniel Gillies talks 'The Vampire Diaries' in Spoiler Room Video Edition

Daniel-Gillies_510x383.jpg

Take it from me: The Vampire Diaries is easily one of the most difficult shows to conduct interviews about because of the serialized nature of the story. Teasing — it’s an art. But I have to say, Daniel Gillies really held his own when he sat down on the Spoiler Room couch for a chat while in town recently promoting the Oct. 11 return of The Vampire Diaries and his film Broken Kingdom, out today.

Thanks to everyone who submitted questions for the actor. The fruits of your labors have produced the following scoop on Elijah’s return, the next flashback episode, and much more. Click below to check it out — and to hear Gillies say the phrase “take our pants off.”

It’s October!! Holy muffins. How did that happen?

It’s been a busy couple of weeks on my end. First, there was the Emmys, immediately followed by a series of set visits in Vancouver that sucked the life out of me in the best way possible. Now I’m back in New York, fall is in full swing, new shows are beginning to stick (and others, not so much), and hopefully we’re all enjoying having DVRs full of goodness. I know I am.

So let’s get to it. Remember to be sending me your scoop requests (spoilerroom@ew.com) and follow me on Twitter for witty commentary and TV news. Also, if you’re emailing, take a second to tell me your favorite new show of the fall. This is an informal poll, but I’m really curious what scoop you might be craving in the near future. Time for some dish. Nom. Nom. Nom.

‘FRINGE’: FOUR TEASES FROM THE SET
There’s no place as wonderfully warm and weird as the set of Fringe. A few journos and I had the pleasure of visiting the gang in Vancouver last week, and when I wasn’t handing out EWwy awards, I was gathering some fun little intel for fans of the mind-bending cult fave. (If you haven’t read the post-mortem from Friday, head here.) READ FULL STORY »

True story: I’m so excited for fall TV that I’ve been having dreams about watching season premieres. Seriously. My entire dream is me sitting on the couch, watching TV. Part of me thinks that maybe I’m clairvoyant and all the secrets of the fall season are playing out on Dream Sandra’s TV. The more likely possibility is that I need a real life. (My birthday was last week, and I’m now starting to think I wasted that wish. Damn.)

Regardless, as TV continues to invade my dreams, I encourage you to engage with it in reality by sending me your questions! Email spoilerroom@ew.com or ask via Twitter @EWSandraG. Belated birthday wishes also accepted. (Just don’t ask for age specifics. I’ll never tell.)
