Question: Any information on what’s going on with Tony and Ziva on NCIS? More than a few hints were dropped in Tuesday’s episode that suggest something went on between the two of them in Paris. —Jason
Ausiello: Funny story. Just hours before the episode aired, I asked exec producer Shane Brennan if there would be any significant movement on the ‘Tiva’ front in the coming months. Here’s what he said: “I’ll let the ‘Jetlag’ episode answer that, because I think it does. I don’t want to be more specific than that. People should watch that episode and read between the lines.” They so did it it’s not even funny.
Question: I’m hearing rumors Abby and McGee might be reuniting on NCIS. Please say it isn’t true! —Jo
Ausiello: Funny story: All Shane Brennan would divulge is, “Something begins to happen [with them] later in the season.” Okay, that one wasn’t so funny. READ FULL STORY »

Question: How about you try something new in Ask Ausiello this week and talk about Lost. Remember that show? —Eddie
Ausiello: Hmmm… I think that’s the show I just got some exclusive casting news on. According to a well-placed insider, Fisher Stevens will resurface this season as the late George Minkowski. That’s the show you’re talking about, right?
Question: I’m literally dying for True Blood news. Please save me from dying a slow, painful death. —Demi
Ausiello: Your life-saving scoop has arrived! It’ll take three villains to replace last season’s one Big Bad, Maryann. “We have a triumvirate of evil this season,” reveals exec producer Alan Ball. “I’m talking about Franklin Mott, Russell Edgington, and Debbie Pelt. They are all bad to the bone. They’re not just crazy, they’re evil.” Speaking of the yet-to-be-cast Debbie Pelt, Ball tells me that Alcide’s psycho ex will actually have a bigger role than first thought. “We actually beefed up Debbie,” he says. “She’s going to be in more episodes, so maybe that will have an impact on [what actress] we can get for her, which is a big question right now.” READ FULL STORY »
Funny story: I heard an unconfirmed rumor earlier today that Ricky Gervais was seriously considering reprising his role as original Office manager David Brent on the U.S. version later this season. Too good to be true, right? That’s what I thought. Well, about an hour ago, Ricky Gervais took the stage at press tour (he’s here promoting his new self-titled animated HBO comedy) and hinted that he might do something with the U.S. Office next season. Bottom line? I think there’s a very strong chance that Michael Scott is going to come face-to-face with his British doppelganger, the only question now is when.
Can you imagine?!

Question: What’s coming up for Sam and Addison on Private Practice? —Lisa
Ausiello: Things will heat up between those two crazy kids in February, but their guilty consciences will prove a major obstacle. There will also be an added complication involving (MAJOR SPOILER ALERT) another doctor who has long been waiting in the wings.

Ausiello: Mexie is M’over. The lovers will break things off this week, but it doesn’t really become official until next week when word of their respective dalliances comes to light. Interestingly, someone’s not as pissed off as I would’ve thought. READ FULL STORY »

Ausiello: I’m hearing something about a marriage proposal coming in the second half of the season. Also, remember House’s loony bin lay, Lydia? There’s buzz she may get a shout-out in the upcoming episode directed by Hugh Laurie. Let’s hope Cuddy isn’t within earshot!
Question: When Glee returns in April, will the storylines continue as if no time had elapsed, or will it be four months later? —Jenn

Ausiello: They have a really moving handholding scene. Does that count?
Question: After watching the Grey’s Anatomy premiere can you please tell me anything about Mer-Der? —Erin
Ausiello: If you were among those fans who thought their Post-It note wedding was some kind of bad joke, there’s a scene at George’s funeral that should put a smile on your face. READ FULL STORY »

Wanna crash Jim and Pam’s wedding/honeymoon? Get thee to Niagara Falls now.
A dedicated Aushole just tipped me off that The Office is shooting scenes with Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski on location at Niagara Falls right this second. “My two best friends were there and spotted Jim and Pam underneath a sign saying something along the lines of, ‘Everyone falls in love at the Falls,’ reports my spy. “There’s a small crew with them. They filmed today and continue on Monday.”
I haven’t been able to confirm any of this NBC, but it makes sense in light of the following spoiler Office producer/co-star Mindy Kaling tweeted yesterday: READ FULL STORY »
