Spoiler Room is back from summer vacation!!

For details on how I spent my weeks off, watch Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Summer Vacation. Actually, that has nothing to do with what I did, but I wish it did. (Also, I really love that movie.) The real answer to how I spent my time off is nothing you’d be particularly interested in.

Anyway, I’m back and have returned with a delicious heap of scoop. Enjoy! And don’t forget to send your questions for next week, people! spoilerroom@EW.com

We’ve got a busy weekend ahead here at EW. Not only is there a lot of good TV but we’re also hosting the CapeTown Film Festival in L.A., so I’ll be there periodically this weekend. If you’re in the L.A. area, stop by and say hello.

Now that I’ve opened myself up to possible stalkers, on to business!

Notice: Spoiler Room will return to it’s regularly scheduled Wednesday timeslot next week. And as usual, send all questions to spoilerroom@ew.com!

Happy finale season! We’re in the home stretch but before we all prepare for our post-TV season depression, let’s dig in to some scoop.

Have a question for next week? Send it to spoilerroom@ew.com or find me on Twitter @EWSandraG

‘CASTLE’: SHOULD CASTLE/BECKETT FANS BE WORRIED?

Aside from a few bumps along the way, this season of Castle has been filled with lots of joy for Castle and Beckett — the “honeymoon period,” as executive producer Andrew Marlow calls it. But will the May 13 finale bring an official end to this honeymoon?

“I think the finale’s goal is to ask some hard questions, and take a look at some reconceived notions and some assumptions that both characters may have that may or may not be accurate,” he elaborates.

Judging from the questions you fans sent in, though, I know there’s one question that’s been plaguing your minds: Should you be worried about Castle and Beckett’s relationship status. The answer? Well, it’s complicated: “I think whenever we go into a finale episode, of course, the fans should be worried about things,” Marlowe says. “But what we’re trying to do is find honest organic storytelling that’s more complicated than ‘should we be worried’ because I think ‘should we be worried’ implies a binary outcome — either X happens to Y happens and I think we’re trying to tell a lot more complicated story than that.”

I warned you. It’s complicated. Thankfully clarity is just around the corner, as are more teases from Marlow. Stay tuned.

‘BONES’: HOW BAD IS PELANT? WELL…

Think we’ve seen the worst from brilliant hacker Christopher Pelant (Andrew Leeds)? Think again.

In Monday’s season finale of Bones, the evil genius now has more tools at his disposal than ever before and will show just how much he can mess with the lives of our gang, “I think it’s emotional for everybody,” previews Emily Deschanel. “The victims — there may be multiple victims — have connections to the FBI and Booth and Booth…knows the victim well. So it’s a big deal.”

After stealing Hodgins’s fortune in a previous episode, we’ll find Pelant operatings from some very fancy new digs in Monday’s season ender and living with “no restrictions.” “He has unlimited capabilities at this point and that’s pretty terrifying when you think about a brilliant, evil person with all those resources,” she says.

But his most evil act of the episode? That one you won’t see coming. “It’s like the last few season finales where you really have to watch until the very last minute,” she teases.

More from Deschanel on Monday.

‘NASHVILLE’: BIG CHANGES COMING

We all saw Lamar flirt with death in the last new episode of Nashville, but even though he made it out alive, there are big changes in store for the family.

Judith-Hoag.jpg

“[Tandy] is sort of the son her father never had and has been groomed for the top role at the company and to succeed my father when it was time for him to step down or, god forbid, he should pass away. So it becomes clear the time is getting closer, it’s time to maybe make some moves,” Judith Hoag teases. “Lamar and Tandy have some different visions for how the company should be run, and I think Tandy has hit a point where she’s done being told who to be and what to do.”

That goes over with Lamar about as well as you’d expect. But Hoag says Tandy’s new attitude isn’t the only thing drumming up drama. “She also finds out information that makes her uncomfortable with how business is being handled…and also I question a big Lamar’s state of mind,” she says. “But we can never forget what a worthy opponent he is. He’s worthy and he taught me very well. So it should be interesting.”

Get ready to read the word “finale” a lot. But ’tis the season, folks!

And as our favorite shows begin signing off (Go On) and others film their final installments before summer vacay, make sure you send in your burning questions! (SpoilerRoom@ew.com is still the best way. I can’t always comb the comments!)

Also (shameless self promotion time): Please make sure you pick up this amazing issue of EW, featuring Scandal on the cover. There’s lots of great scoop on the season to come — and I wrote it!

‘THE VAMPIRE DIARIES’: PAUL WESLEY DISHES ON STEFAN’S FUTURE

In the last new episode of The Vampire Diaries, Stefan (Paul Wesley) told Damon it was time they break their cycle of loving the same woman. To that end, Stefan said his plan is to 1.) Help Damon shove the cure down Elena’s throat and 2.) Get her out of his life so he can find a new one for himself. That last bit sounds pretty good to Wesley as he looks ahead to season 5. “I think that Stefan should go off and explore another town,” he tells EW. “I think Stefan is really interesting when he separates from the pack and explores his own demons. I think it’s time for him to maybe go off, and then come back later to Mystic Falls and see how that impacts the relationships that he has with Elena and Damon. I could just be saying that selfishly because I’d love a different storyline, but I also think just objectively it would be good for the show.” READ FULL STORY »

‘THE OFFICE’: HAPPY ENDING FOR ANDY/ERIN?

When Erin first came on the scene at the Office, I was convinced they were setting her up to be Mrs. Andy Bernard. But their romance has certainly unfolded differently than I expected, especially in the last few weeks, as we saw Erin break it off with Andy so she could be with Pete.

But will the two find their way back to each other before the end of the season? READ FULL STORY »

Good day, Roomies!

Hope the world is treating you well. I certainly can’t complain. In the last week since we’ve touched base, I’m settled into my new L.A.-based digs, mourned the loss of my access to solid public transportation and purchased a car, and started a Fund the Veronica Mars movie piggy bank. Very busy, as you can see. But that brings me to the highlight of my week: Giving y’all scoop on the cool stuff coming up on your favorite shows.

Check out this week’s offerings below, and if you have a question, don’t hesitate to ask! SpoilerRoom@ew.com or on Twitter: @EWSandraG.

‘ARROW’ FINALE DISH

How great was Arrow’s Paley panel this weekend? (If you missed it, you suck. Kidding! You can watch it here.) But before the event, Spoiler Room hit the red carpet for some scoop on the finale that executive producer Marc Guggenheim says will find the conflict between Arrow/Oliver (Stephen Amell) and John Barrowman’s Merlyn coming to a big climax. Happy Tuesday, y’all! Lots of good stuff here so I won’t waste your time with foreplay — unless you like that sort of thing. Wink. Kidding. Sorry. Must be all these Valentine’s-themed episodes I’ve been watching that are making me all saucy.

Speaking of which, happy early Valentine’s Day to you all! Show me your love by sending more questions: spoilerroom@ew.com.

See you next week.

ONCE UPON A TIME: MR. GOLD’S ADVENTURE

Mr. Gold is off on an adventure into a terrifying land he’s never been before — New York. And while Henry certainly enjoys the trek to NYC in this week’s episode of Once Upon a Time, Mr. Gold’s journey to find his son definitely is not going to go smoothly, according to executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. “I would say that ‘Manhattan’ is going to be the showdown that everyone wants to [see],” says Kitsis, referring to Mr. Gold’s reunion with his son. (Also, there are some amazing flashbacks that explain at least one major burning question fans have Gold for a very long time and the ending of the last flashback will send a chill through your spine.)

Kitsis adds that Gold’s confrontation with his son won’t be the only emotional turmoil we should expect in this week’s hour. “Emma is going to be dealing with a lot of emotional baggage [in the next few episodes], I’ll say that,” Kitsis says. “There are a lot of things she needs to get through.”

In related Once news, as I told you this week, August will make a reappearance later this season, and says Horowitz, “We can’t wait for you to see the next phase of his story.” But the rest of the season won’t just be returns from favorite characters. Two words: —i- -o–.

'The Following': James Purefoy teases Ryan and Joe flashback in the Spoiler Room -- VIDEO

Looking at Det. Ryan’s (Kevin Bacon) interactions with serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) in the first two episodes of The Following, it’s hard to imagine a time when these two weren’t playing their game of cat and mouse. But as tonight’s episode will show, they were actually quite chummy at one time.

When Purefoy stopped by our Spoiler Room video studio, we got him to dish more on the flashbacks we’ll be seeing of their first encounter, the truth about the book Joe received from Parker (Annie Parisse) at the end of last week’s episode, and more!

Three important notices for all Spoiler Room readers:

1) Next week, I’ll be in California, so expect this column to be 30 percent less cold and bitter. 2) Don’t forget to send in your questions. (spoilerroom@ew.com) If you do — I don’t know if you know this — but all the puppies everywhere will cry. And 3) Space Jam is awesome — and so are you.

‘REVENGE’: WHO’S ON THE BOAT?
As we know, someone is going down with the Amanda. But who? We’ll definitely find out sooner than you might think.

In fact, Gabriel Mann tells me that the big reveal has already been filmed and “it’s a very touching, very action-packed” script. “It is very moving and very poignant, and let’s just say it kind of re-ups Emily’s game in a lot of different ways,” he says.

And while he couldn’t say a single thing about the victim (naturally), Mann did tease that the next few episodes will be the perfect build up. “From a personal point of view, I tend to think that Jack’s fatal flaw is his pride. He’s been keeping the goings on with the Stowaway close to the vest while Emily has been caught up in the Aiden of it all and I’ve been caught up in the NolCorp-takeover-Padma-Marco of it all. I think all of a sudden, our eyes are starting to turn back to the Stowaway and say, ‘What’s been happening here right under our nose?’ he says. “I don’t think it’s ever a good idea to have Emily and Nolan’s sights set on you with laser intensity. Nobody messes with our Jack.”

Now deep into filming the second half of the season, Mann promises that viewers will soon see all the plot points connecting. “I think the ways in which [creator] Mike Kelley has managed to weave all of these things that seem to be coming from a lot of different angles is really one of his fortes,” he says. “I think for viewers of the show — any questions that they may have had or confusion about what came up in the first half of the season will be answered very deliciously in the second half.”

Guesses? Hopes?

In related news: thanks for all your great questions this week! Keep them coming: spoilerroom@ew.com.

‘BONES’: SWEETS ON THE MOVE
Before I get to our main event, did y’all like last night’s episode as much as I did? If so, make sure you read my post-mortem with executive producer Stephen Nathan here. We talk about Pelant’s next return and preview some emotional upcoming episodes.

Now, on to business: I get asked about Sweets and Daisy almost as much as Booth and Brennan. (Almost.) So you’ll be happy to learn that we’ll see Daisy once again very soon. How? Nathan explains: “We are revisiting Sweets and Daisy. We have once where they kind of saw each other again and realized it was over. But we do have an episode coming up where Sweets’ living arrangement will change yet again. and Daisy is in that episode. But I don’t really want to say what happens.”

Subtext: Yes, Sweets’ stay with Booth and Brennan is coming to an end in a few episodes. (Awww! I liked the roomies!) But it could mean good news for Sweets and Daisy.

Fair trade? Thoughts?
