Timothy Olyphant talks 'Justified,' Christina Ricci on 'Pan Am' in Spoiler Room: Video Edition

There’s a lot to say about the upcoming season of Justified. But rather than hear me blabber about it, wouldn’t you like a visual aid, courtesy of Timothy Olyphant? Of course you would.

Welcome to another rousing episode of Spoiler Room: Video Edition.

In addition to the aforementioned teases (there’s also more available in the regular edition of Spoiler Room), Pan Am star Christina Ricci talks about what’s coming up on the ABC drama. Now, it’s no secret that Pan Am is having a tough time in the ratings game. But, surprisingly, the news out of ABC’s TCA panel (read Lynette Rice’s report here) wasn’t dreadful. Ricci was singing a similar tune when I chatted with her last month, but also offered some advice to fans.

Check it all out below. Enjoy the teases, the stars, and my self deprecation.

Happy Friday, all!

What a week it’s been. If you, like me, are suffering from this strange, post-holiday walking coma, then hopefully this week’s column puts a little skip back into your step.

Thanks to everyone who has been answering the call for questions. (Remember, no question is stupid! Unless it is. Kidding!) So keep it up!

Oh, and I just figured out how to make one of these nifty Twitter buttons! (Don’t tease — I know I’m ridiculously late to the cool button party.)

'The Vampire Diaries,' 'Justified,' 'Once Upon a Time,' 'White Collar': Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room

Welcome back, friends! Hope the holidays were as fattening for you as they were for me.

As winter hiatus comes to a close, it’s time to get back into the swing of things. (Although, I hope you still enjoyed the special Once Upon a Time edition of Spoiler Room that was served up last week!) And this week, there’s a little bit of something for everyone, I hope. If not, there’s a simple way to solve that: Hit me up! E-mail or Tweet me @EWSandraG. And if you don’t see your question, keep trying! (I do read them all!)

Enjoy, and it’s truly lovely to be back in the swing of things! (Side note: Anyone else sort of love what’s going on in this week’s Spoiler Room blend? Now that’s a trio!)

The year 2011 hasn’t been the easiest for Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Co., on The Vampire Diaries, and, as Julie Plec told Mandi Bierly, the first new episode of the season doesn’t do much to indicate changing winds in 2012. READ FULL STORY

Spoiler Room special edition: 'Once Upon a Time' creators talk second half of the season (more deaths coming?)

To say Once Upon a Time has made a splash among viewers this year would be a gross understatement. The show’s enchanting characters, rich mythology, and heartbreakingly artful storytelling has cast a spell on many — not the least of which are readers of my Spoiler Room column.

Last year, around the holidays, I treated you to a nice chat with Chuck creator Chris Fedak. This year, when trying to pick the subject of a special edition, the choice was simple.

Once Upon a Time closed out its first half with the death of a major character (RIP, Sheriff Graham), leaving us wondering how Emma and the town will cope without him. I couldn’t wait to find out what’s next, and judging by the pure volume of your questions, neither can you. So I hope you enjoy this chat with creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, where I pose many of the questions you all have been sending to me during the past couple of weeks. How will Emma react to the death of Graham? What will we see from Snow and Charming? And will there be more deaths? Read on for those answers and more.

Note: Spoiler Room will be back in its full, Q&A format next Friday, so send me your questions ( And until then, Happy Holidays to you all!

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: So I have to start with the final haunting image of the last episode: Regina’s wall of hearts. How is that knowledge and visual going to launch us into the second half of the season?
ADAM HOROWITZ: We’re going to launch into the second half of the season through the eyes of someone else, which is Mr. Gold and Rumpelstiltskin. We’re going to actually find out how Rumple became Rumple.
EDWARD KITSIS: That said, the reveal of the vault is a very important thing for us in terms of moving forward in the season in that we wanted to send a very clear message that Regina knows what’s going on and has some very clear intentions in Storybrooke. READ FULL STORY

'Pretty Little Liars,' 'Burn Notice,' and 'Last Man Standing' stars talk what's next in Spoiler Room Video Edition

It’s that time again, folks!

If there’s something worth pausing my vacation for, it’s the third episode of Spoiler Room Video Edition! On tap today, we have some dish from Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, who I caught up with during an ice skating party (as always, forgive me camera skills); a piece of my sitdown with Gabrielle Anwar from Burn Notice; and a fun preview from Nancy Travis from Last Man Standing. (Also, Liars fans, make sure you’ve checked out this juicy news!)

There’s a little something for everyone, I hope. But keep in mind I’m also open to suggestions. Make sure you e-mail me with names of celebs who you’d like to see in upcoming editions ( And make sure you follow me on Twitter for more on when you can read the next Spoiler Room column.

'The Mentalist,' 'Terra Nova,' 'How I Met Your Mother,' 'NCIS': Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room

Hello, friends!

As we all prepare to celebrate the annual celebration of Saturnalia, it is with great excitement that I present to you this week’s column! Why am I so excited? Because I get a week of vacation starting… Oh, crap! Ten hours ago!

We better get a move on. But while I’m away, remember to keep sending in your questions to and sending em via Twitter. (@EWSandraG) See y’all soon!

The Red John story line has taken so many twists and turns since last season’s epic finale that that story line has largely taken a backseat to other fun capers. But that won’t be the case all season. In fact, Daniel Cerone, executive producer and writer of next week’s “Fugue in Red,” tells me this week’s episode, which will find Jane reverting to his con-man ways after an accident, will “reframe who Red John is in the life of our character” and ultimately set the stage for a second half of the season that will see more action from this fan-favorite story line. 'Criminal Minds,' 'Sons of Anarchy,' 'The Vampire Diaries,' 'Ringer': Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room

Hey there, people. It’s that time of the week again.

Hope you enjoy this week’s spoils and join me in pre-mourning the inevitable hiatus that is headed our way (if not, already in progress). Why must the TV world put a damper on my holidays with such a dark time? I mean, what am I supposed to do with my evenings now? Talk to people?!? Sleep? Well, sleep does sound good. But the former just sounds exhausting and frustrating. Am I alone in scrooging?

Regardless, I hope this puts you in a slightly better mood if you are in the dumps about hiatus time. We’ll ride it out together! (Um, except when I go on vacation…) Anyhoo, make sure you’re sending me your spoiler questions, thoughts, and general suggestions to and following me on Twitter @EWSandraG for the latest goings-on in TV land (and, sometimes, pictures of pretty people on red carpets). Speaking of pretty people, if you’re a fan of Pretty Little Liars or Burn Notice, you’ll want to read the column very carefully today. (There’s some news about what I’ll be up to in the next week that you might find interesting.) READ FULL STORY

'How I Met Your Mother,' 'Chuck,' 'Glee,' 'Gossip Girl': Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room

Happy Thanksgiving, Roomies!

As I’ll likely be in a Turkey coma on Friday, here’s something to be thankful for a little early… Spoiler Room: Special Wednesday/Pre-Holiday/Yay For a Long Weekend Edition! Yup, just a few scoops to take you into your hopefully lovely holiday.

But before the 411 — and at the risk of sounding very sappy — I have to say that I’m very thankful for your readership and highly entertaining comments and questions this year. Here’s to another great one!

On that note, don’t slack! Send questions and ponderings to or Tweet ‘em to me @EWSandraG. Be well!

The logline for next week’s How I Met Your Mother is incredibly teasey. Observe: When “Robin receives bad news, she decides to lie about it to the gang. Meanwhile, Marshall hangs Christmas decorations on the house in the ‘burbs with help from his neighbor.” But still unsatisfied, I hopped on the phone yesterday with HIMYM executive producer Carter Bays, who talked about the next episode. (To read part of our chat, click here.)

What I left out about the Dec. 5 episode, however, is something that truly sent chills of anticipation down my spine: While Bays said he believes it’s “one of the best episodes we’ve ever done,” he also expressed a little apprehension, saying he hopes viewers will see it the same way. “You know, honestly, I hope people stay on board after the next episode,” he tells me. “I think there’s some incredible acting in it, and it’s a really nicely told story that we’re very pleased with. But… this Barney and Robin stuff is a third rail for our show in a good way. It’s nice to get a little jolt every now and then, but it is so divisive among fans from what I’ve gathered. So hopefully people will enjoy the story for what it is. But yeah, we’re nervous about where the story goes. Excited, and very proud of it, but I hope people stay on board. I think they will.” READ FULL STORY

'Gossip Girl,' 'Burn Notice,' and 'Unforgettable' stars talk what's next in the Spoiler Room -- VIDEO

Two down! Pretty soon, I’ll have a full AMC-length season of Spoiler Room: Video Edition in the bag.

In this episode, I bring you teases from a few people you might know: Kaycee DeFer of Gossip Girl fame, Bruce Campbell, and Dylan Walsh. But what really makes today’s video special is that it features the very first on-camera fan question. As I say in the video (but it’s worth mentioning again), thank you to every one of you who answered my tweet asking for video question submissions. You are all brave and awesome. There will be more chances to do that soon because, frankly, I’d rather see your lovely faces in these videos than mine. That’s not false modesty — it’s me not wanting to get up two hours early to get dressed on filming days. Yes, two hours. Isn’t that sad?

Anyhoo, come back here for your regular Spoiler Room column later this week. (Note: Follow me on Twitter for the latest on that. I MAY have an early Thanksgiving present for y’all.) Make sure you’re e-mailing me your questions, ponderings, and comments, especially if they are about what else you’d like to be seeing in these video editions. (They ARE for you, after all.) My e-mail is the same as always:

In the meantime, enjoy episode 2: Attack of the Clones, which means nothing, other than I can’t say the words “episode 2″ without my nerd brain responding “attack of the clones.” (Please tell me I’m not the only one… ) READ FULL STORY

'Once Upon a Time,' 'Castle,' 'Leverage,' 'How I Met Your Mother': Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room

As I’m capping off this week’s Spoiler Room, Regis Philbin is saying goodbye on Live! So as I try to ignore it enough not to weep like a mad person, forgive me if I don’t make a lot of sense. (God, I’m such a ridiculous sappy human!)

Okay, let’s get down to business. Here are this week’s goodies. Thanks to all who submitted questions. Keep ‘em coming! Don’t know how? Here’s the info: or @EWSandraG on Twitter.

And a special thanks to all those brave souls who answered my call for video questions on Twitter (which you can see in the next Spoiler Room: Video Edition). There will be more chances to do so very soon! READ FULL STORY

'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Glee,' 'Criminal Minds,' 'American Horror Story': Find out what's next in the Spoiler Room

Awwww. Y’all know what I realized this week?

It’s been just about one year since we first started our show-mance (and I mean that quite literally). Our mutual love for television has brought us together and I couldn’t be happier about it. So many thanks for your readership, harassment, and love. Sometimes, it all even came rolled in a single e-mail. Crazies after my own heart — I love it.

So I hope you enjoy today’s installment and the comfort of knowing that you’re now officially my longest relationship ever. Woo!!… I think.

Also, celebrate by sending me more questions and ponderings. (E-mail: or Tweet: @EWSandraG) You’re great people and I appreciate you. Happy Anniversary!! (Note: It was officially last Saturday, but in the grand tradition of all my relationships, I forgot. So we can celebrate now!)

So, readers, was Grey’s Anatomy not the most heart-wrenching thing ever last night? I was consoled only by the fact that I was sure there were other people somewhere bawling along with me. But aside from leaving me with puffy eyes, the episode also left us all with a burning question: What’s going to happen to poor Teddy? Well, when I spoke with Kim Raver, she weighed in on what’s next. “It’s like the time-bomb waiting to explode,” she says. “I know that she doesn’t just dissolve into a puddle on the floor. It’s not that kind of grieving. I know she will go into ‘Let me try to fix it’ mode. But we don’t know how long that will hold.” READ FULL STORY

'Fringe,' 'Nikita,' and 'Suburgatory' stars dish in the Spoiler Room: Video Edition!

Roomies, today is an exciting day, and not just because I got the next episode of American Horror Story in the mail. I’m happy as a clam to present to you Spoiler Room’s new video venture that will bring you the best teasy bit straight from the people we watch (and dream about — Just me? Okay.) every week. (Note: Not to worry, you’ll still get your regular Spoiler Room column on Fridays. This is extra credit!) In this first edition, Fringe‘s Anna Torv, Nikita‘s Maggie Q, and Suburgatory star Jane Levy take your questions and/or dish on what’s coming up on their shows.

As always, make sure you’re sending me your burning questions via e-mail ( and Twitter (@EWSandraG). And stay tuned for details on how you can submit your question via video and be included on future installments of this new bi-monthly series.

Oh, and don’t be shy about sending me your general thoughts on the video and how you might want to get involved. But please be gentle — there’s nothing I can do about the stupid, overly enthusiastic faces I make. It just happens. READ FULL STORY
