'Vampire Diaries,' 'Teen Wolf', 'The Good Wife' stars on what's to come in Spoiler Room Video Edition

The bounty from my travels down South continue to produce. Just check out this week’s Spoiler Room Video Edition.

In this episode, Nina Dobrev opens up about tomorrow’s episode of The Vampire Diaries and the inner-workings of Elena’s mind. (Also, be sure to check out what they all had to say in this week’s super-sexy cover feature.) And Tyler Posey let me inside his trailer for a little one-on-one scoopage about the upcoming season of  Teen Wolf. (New season doesn’t start until the summer, but there’s nothing wrong with getting excited now!) And last — but certainly not least — Archie Panjabi teases what’s next for Cary and Kalinda on The Good Wife. (Speculation: Is another kiss on the way?) READ FULL STORY »

'The Vampire Diaries': Candice Accola on what's to come with Klaus and Caroline. Plus, more scoop from EW's vampy set visit -- EW VIDEO

When it dips to around 50 degrees outside, the Atlanta, Ga., set of The Vampire Diaries feels even colder–downright bitter. Space heaters are a must, and it’s not uncommon to see crew members walking around with the puffer jackets you might think only Northerners wear during the winter months. Try doing a shirtless scene in that.

Yes, spending a few shivery hours on set will give you new respect for what the actors on The CW’s monster hit drama endure, but it’s all in the name of nail-biting TV. And there’s definitely more of that to come.

On Thursday, we pick up immediately where the last new episode left off, with Klaus and Elijah once again coming face-to-face (after Klaus stabbed him!) and, later, hosting a dinner party with the Salvatore brothers. “I think there’s definitely an element of fear–not necessarily afraid of what Elijah will do–but what it will mean for Elijah and their relationship,” Joseph Morgan told a group of reporters over brunch during EW’s visit to vamp land. “Their relationship has been founded on a lie that’s 1,000 years old, and so it’s a huge deal. He’s gotten away with it for a while.” (Ian Somerhalder jokes, “Geez, I used to lie to my brother for a couple of weeks and he’d be livid.”)

'Vampire Diaries': Torrey DeVitto talks Dr. Fell, enjoying husband Paul Wesley's turn as Bad Stefan

When Torrey DeVitto was cast on The Vampire Diaries, she thought it was just going to be a three-episode arc. But with her stay in Mystic Falls continuing — she’s shot more than a handful of episodes and is still filming — you might want to keep an eye on Dr. Meredith Fell.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Last week’s episode established that Dr. Fell is a member of a Founding Family and on the Council. So has she been in town for awhile and we just haven’t met her until now?
TORREY DEVITTO: When I talked to [exec producer Julie Plec], my take on it was that she’s obviously from there, left and went to medical school, and she’s just coming back into town. READ FULL STORY »

'The Vampire Diaries': Michael Trevino teases Tyler's struggle with Klaus -- and his questionable future with Caroline

Although they’ve spent their formative years dealing with death, destruction, and an annoying little critter by the name of Jeremy Gilbert, the Mystic Falls gang has always remained a close-knit bunch. That is, until Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) gave fan-favorite Caroline Forbes a little love-bite that may or may not isolate the hybrid hunk from his friends for good.

“He’s got to make it right,” Trevino told EW at a special Q&A Wednesday morning. “I think he’s going to do anything and everything to make it better. Everything is for Caroline right now. He told her he loved her, and then he goes and almost kills her right after. You’re in the doghouse after that. He’s got to work hard at it.” SPOILERS AHEAD READ FULL STORY »

'The Vampire Diaries': EP Julie Plec, Candice Accola tease Caroline's gloomy birthday -- and her special gift

It seems as though even Vampire Barbie has her dark days. And tonight’s episode of The Vampire Diaries will find poor Caroline having one of her darkest days yet as her 18th birthday approaches. The small issues that has the birthday girl down in the dumps? Vampires don’t have birthdays.

“This is Caroline’s first realization that she will never be normal and there are a lot of things that she will ever be a part of — and one of them is her 18th birthday,” says Candice Accola. “I think a lot of people look forward to their 18th birthday, and I think it’s a year that marks when you’re an adult. And so it kind of is also a realization she will always be a teenager — a young teenager forever.” READ FULL STORY »

'Vampire Diaries': Paul Wesley on Stefan's 'incredibly hostile' episode (and why he doesn't want this arc to end)

Vampire-Diaries

When we talked to Paul Wesley about this Thursday’s episode of The Vampire Diaries – the one in which Stefan mentions turning Elena (Nina Dobrev) into a vampire, bites his wrist, and may force her to drink his blood in a speeding vehicle – he hadn’t seen it. He had, however, received a call from TVD exec producer Julie Plec to tell him the intense moments between Stefan and Elena were some of her favorite scenes. “He’s essentially kidnapping her,” Wesley says. “There’s layers of humanity, regret, and sadness in his eyes, but it’s all sort of masked by this sociopathic, raging maniac who’s scaring her to death. His relationship [with Elena] is sort of the antithesis of what it was, which was this really romantic, soft, protective relationship. Elena is the key to everything [in his battle with Klaus], and Stefan will go to any extreme to get what he needs, which makes him much more terrifying.”

'Secret Circle': 'FNL' alum Grey Damon on possibly sexing up Chance Harbor (and almost being Stefan Salvatore)

SECRET-CIRCLE

The Secret Circle returns tonight (The CW, 9 p.m. ET), and while Cassie (Britt Robertson) is busy trying to understand what coming from a “dark magic” bloodline actually means, Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) tries to cheer up Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) by attempting to get their individual powers back. Enter the new recurring character Lee LaBeque, played by Friday Night Lights‘ Grey Damon, who Faye finds advertising his voodoo botanica online and asks for help.

When Damon read for the role, he went in with a gypsy in mind, but now he sees Lee having more of a rocker/biker vibe. “That’s what I like about him, he’s sort of a mixture of a lot of things and he’s not really definable if you’re trying to figure him out,” Damon says. READ FULL STORY »

The Vampire Diaries returns with its first episode of 2012 tonight (The CW, 8 p.m. ET), but we’re already looking ahead to the Jan. 19 episode when we meet Abby Bennett (recurring guest star Persia White), estranged mother of Bonnie (Kat Graham). ”There’s going to be some unanswered questions that Bonnie’s gonna have: Why did you leave me, or why did you disappear? What made you disappear? Where did you go? Why were you not in my life?” Graham says. “A lot of those questions will get answered and you will find out where her mom’s heart is and why she has to come back into Bonnie’s life. And that whole thing will surprise you, too, because it’s not what people think.”  READ FULL STORY »

'The Vampire Diaries' new promo: 'To beat the villain, you have to be the better villain' -- VIDEO

vampire-diaries

The word “revenge” has never sounded as simultaneously threatening and seductive as it does when uttered by Stefan (Paul Wesley) in this new promo for The Vampire Diaries, viewable first here on EW.

In the video, which you can watch below, we see that Stefan has it out for Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and has hidden the coffins containing the bodies of his family. Despite Damon’s prompting, Stefan looks like he’s ready to stick to his plan, but can he be convinced to back down?  READ FULL STORY »

Welcome back, friends! Hope the holidays were as fattening for you as they were for me.

As winter hiatus comes to a close, it’s time to get back into the swing of things. If not, there’s a simple way to solve that: Hit me up! E-mail SpoilerRoom@ew.com or Tweet me @EWSandraG. And if you don’t see your question, keep trying! (I do read them all!)

‘THE VAMPIRE DIARIES’: STEFAN CHANNELS… JACK BAUER AND CHUCK NORRIS?
The year 2011 hasn’t been the easiest for Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Co., on The Vampire Diaries, and, as Julie Plec told Mandi Bierly, the first new episode of the season doesn’t do much to indicate changing winds in 2012. READ FULL STORY »
