Last month, we got a minute-long look at Under the Dome, CBS’s upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s novel. Now the network has released an even longer trailer for the limited series, which premieres June 24. Expect quaint Americana, actors you’ll recognize from other beloved series (Lost! Breaking Bad! Twilight!)… and, oh yeah, a giant transparent dome, which inexplicably appears above the quiet town of Chester’s Mill. Intriguing!

HBO has released a full-length trailer for the new season of True Blood premiering June 16. While the war between humans and vampires reaches new levels thanks to Billith, some things remain the same — such as Eric having multiple reasons to be shirtless, Jason being at his comedic best when he’s in Rambo mode, and Sookie’s couch seeing some serious action. Watch it below. We get glimpses of everyone. READ FULL STORY
In the new trailer for Maron, we get a first look at some of the top-shelf talent set to appear on the single-camera comedy, which begins its 10-episode first season May 3 on IFC. Judd Hirsch and Sally Kellerman play his parents, while Anthony Jeselnik, Illeana Douglas, Andy Kindler, Dave Foley, Denis Leary, Danny Trejo, Jeff Garlin, Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass, Ken Jeong, Adam Scott, and Gina Gershon all pop up, many as guests on star Marc Maron’s popular WTF podcasts.
Maron busts out of his garage, where he famously records his podcasts, to play a fictionalized version of himself on the show, which also features Nora Zehetner as his girlfriend, and Josh Brener as his assistant.
“They can expect a humorous struggle with self,” Maron told EW in March of what audiences should expect from the show. “It’s about 90 percent me, but it’s me out in the world as opposed to me in my head or at home.”
Check out the NSFW Maron trailer below.
It’s been a long, skinny tie-less off-season for Mad Men watchers, full of moving still imagery and bizarre lawsuits. But no longer: This morning we bring you a full, 30-second teaser trailer for the sixth season, which is just two weeks off. What’s changed since last we saw Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce?
Creator Matthew Weiner is still playing his cards pretty close to the vest, opting to use clips from season 5 to set the mood. But it doesn’t look like anyone’s going to be happy — Don, particularly (burden of the American ethos on his shoulders, didn’t you hear?). But at least he has a cure for such marital not-so-bliss: “I am who I am. The next thing will be better.”
It’s time for the second season of Veep, HBO’s lightning-fast/lightning-foul comedy about the first female V.P. (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), the most-aggressive, second-most-powerful politician in D.C.
Here’s what we learn from the show’s new NSFW trailer: the Veep’s team is headed to a pig roast (maybe) where the hosts might be intimately involved with the main course; the Veep considers “daughter-boarding”; and, unrelated to those two incidents, the Veep becomes a meme, or “mean ma’am” — sorry, “meme, ma’am.” Something tells me V.P. really doesn’t stand for Very Precious.
Register for season 2, which begins April 14, below:
Another weekend, another Game of Thrones trailer, this one titled “The Beast” and adding some more tantalizing glimpses of season 3. There’s Tyrion and a mysterious crate, an exchange between Mance Rayder and Jon Snow, a glimpse of sexy Ygritte in a cave and, most intriguingly, Jaime Lannister and Brienne of Tarth facing off with swords on a bridge (and who’s the guy in the hood, anyway?).
Thrones returns March 31 and we’ll resume our 15 Days of Thrones series tomorrow (previous links below): READ FULL STORY
Next week’s Law and Order: SVU sounds eerily like Chris Brown and Rihanna’s relationship.
Officially, of course, it’s not about them. (UPDATE: A rep for the show told EW “As always, SVU is fiction.”) The promo features a popular music couple where the man is an abuser and the woman keeps going back to him. Because this is SVU, there is of course a twist: The male singer winds up getting murdered.
Here is the episode description: ” ‘Funny Valentine’ – A promising singer is brutally attacked by her boyfriend, a popular hip hop star. ADA Barba (guest star Raul Esparza) works to build a case, but the victim refuses to aid the prosecution and, despite Detective Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) best efforts, continues to put herself in danger. The case quickly spirals into a media circus, perpetrated by both the defendant and his uncompromising attorney (guest star Jeffrey Tambor). …Special appearances by Perez Hilton, Dave Navarro and Wendy Williams.”
So all that, plus Perez Hilton. Are we feeling grossed out yet? The promo is below: READ FULL STORY
The business makeover genre gets tweaked in Comedy Central’s new series Nathan For You, in which writer Nathan Fielder (Important Things with Demetri Martin) attempts to help reinvigorate small businesses using controversial, often ill-advised methods. In the process, he documents people’s over-the-top reactions — and shows there’s no idea too extreme. (Think “poo” flavored frozen yogurt.)
“My favorite part about helping small businesses is seeing that smile on the owner’s face when I’m done,” Fielder tells EW.com. “I had no idea that most people smile with their lips tightly together and the edges of their mouth lower than the center.” Check out an exclusive trailer of the show below: READ FULL STORY
It’s one of the most famous cases in Hollywood history: Music producer Phil Spector was accused of the second-degree murder of Lana Clarkson in 2003. After a 2007 hung jury, he was found guilty in 2009 and is currently in prison. Now, the true story is coming to HBO with an all-star cast. An incredibly-similar-looking Al Pacino tackles the title role of Spector, and Helen Mirren plays his attorney, Linda Kenney Baden.
Written and directed by David Mamet, the HBO Films production focuses on his first trial and the relationship between Spector and Baden (who was one of many attorneys he went through in the case). The movie also stars Jeffrey Tambor and Rebecca Pidgeon.

History scored earlier this year with a dramatic, mini-series retelling of the legendary drama between the dueling Hatfield and McCoy clans, and the cable network is once again dipping back into legend again with a new series Vikings, which will debut early next year. Following our first-look photo, EW has an exclusive sneak peek at the series — starring Gabriel Byrne, Travis Fimmel, Jessalyn Gilsig, Gustaf Skarsgard (yes, brother of Alexander and son of Stellan), Clive Standen, and Katheryn Winnick — via the debut trailer.
The 30-second promotional clip is a smorgasbord of beards, long hair, shields, weapons, and general savagery that — depending on how it all pans out in series format — looks like it could be quite the juicy, battle-filled dive into a long-gone world. In previous press releases, History calls the series — which is created and written by The Tudors creator Michael Hirst — “high on adventure, exploration, conflict, warfare, and bloodshed,” as well as a “family saga.” Specifically, the actions follows historical figure Ragnar Lothbrok (Fimmel) as he rises up the ranks to become King of the Viking tribes.
Promises the trailer: “A storm is coming.” Indeed. See for yourself here:
Homeland wraps up its second season on Dec. 16, but Showtime is hoping viewers of its Emmy-winning thriller will keep tuning in on Sunday nights when they launch two new series in 2013. The cable network recently released a two-for-one trailer for Masters of Sex, which stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan (Party Down) as the real-life pioneering 1950′s sexologists, William Masters and Virginia Johnson; and Ray Donovan, starring Liev Schreiber as a Hollywood fixer who seems like a gritty combination of Pulp Fiction‘s Mr. Wolf and real-life investigator-to-the-stars, Anthony Pellicano.
